Yeh, I thought Harrison looked ok when he played last season.
He was willing to do the hard carries in games when we were massively up against it.

Could maybe offer Fev a loan swap deal for Harrison and send them someone like Cory Hall or Jarred O'Connor someone who is young and on the fringe of our squad to allow them to get valuable game time and get a full season or Championship rugby to see if they are ready for Super League. If we got Harrison on loan gives him a full year at us without any fee being payed for long term contract and see if he is ready for Super League and then we could focus on getting another Prop from overseas or SL?

I know nothing about Amone but he's only played 9 NRL games so he is a risk.

Tom Amone has good size and was highly rated until his injury in June. He did his ACL and had surgery in July so there has to be a major fitness question mark especially due to South's releasing him. Its much harder for a big guy to come back from a bad knee injury due to the weight they carry.

Gale was a risk with his previous injuries and he's come back good I agree big man carry more weight but was highly rated by the souths and leeds could getting him back playing. If they can't he have another stevie ward

I'm probably reading too much into this but Fa'amanu Brown the Samoan half back who Featherstone have signed for next season arrived this week he's been doing some training with Koni Hurrell and Rhyse Martin , believe he's good friends with Martin from there days at Canterbury Bulldogs together, and I think from Brown's instagram he is staying with Martin at the moment. Wonder if Leeds are keeping a close eye on him at Featherstone and maybe want to see how he goes in championship and might want to poach him for 2022 if he shines for Fev? If Lui is off contract and leaves at end of 2021 Leeds might look to bring in Brown as his replacement if he does go well in 2021 season. Leeds and Featherstone obviously have good connections with each other due too the dual reg deal they used to have. Didn't Leeds want to do something like this a couple of years ago when Cameron King was hooker for Fev and we wanted to see how he played over here before we looked at signing him but nothing came of the deal in end?

I think there is probably too much risk in signing Amone. Lack of experience combined with recovery from a bad injury would be enough to put me off if I were writing the cheques. In any case, if he was a target and was willing to come I think they would have announced by now. The club have obviously known about Ava for some time and Amone is a free agent. It's not like they would need to persuade Souths to let him go.
