Yes that's correct, Leeds managed to avoid playing Wigan in the play-offs.
Two out from GF - Buderus and Lauitiiti, two in Griffin and Moore. Who could possibly be unhappy with that.
The squad looks weaker overall with a lot of pressure being placed on some relatively inexperienced young players. Perhaps we'll see a team win the Championship from 8th next season. |

You can read into this what you will
I have a pal who is on coaching staff at the Fev Lions, who also dislikes the Rhinos with a passion and never ever says anything positive about us i may add, but he did categorically tell me that if Tom was to ever leave Hull FC then his preferred choice of clubs would be the Rhinos
I'm not saying that it will happen, but i am saying that i do believe what i was told by him
IMO If Briscoe does not sign a new contract in the next 12 months at Hull then he obviously either wants a monster contract upgrade or he wants away

We are well under the salary cap plus the £100K (assuming the Rhinos get the maximum) from the new Regs.GH has strongly intimated there will be another signing before next season, provided the new player can make a difference.
In the article about Briscoe Hull were very defensive about keeping him so it could be they expect to lose him. Then there's Reed who has huge potential but would the Broncos relase him. Either player would be a great signing, both involving a transfer fee. We'll just have to wait and see. Things might happen after the 4 Nations has finished
