Sorry , as much as i love Ryan it is again the cheap option on the playing side when we should be looking at a quality winger on a 3 year deal .

As for those of you who said we should have re -signed him when he came back from Oz , i did not hear many saying that at the time as it was a massive risk after all his injury problems

I just don't see the point for next year.
Surely we have better forward planning than this.
We should have been after Johnstone, Davies or even Burgess from Salford. There's plenty of UK options.
I know many are saying it's only one year and could be with a view to moving upstairs.
But he will take up valuable cap space that could be used on another winger.

I could have understood it if it was for this season, as we have no fit wingers.
But I don't get it for next year.
Great servant he has been to the game, but he'll be 37 and looking at some games this year, time has caught up with him imo.

He wouldn't have been my first choice, but, he's cheaper than Johnstone, I think Johnstone maybe even a marquee player for Wakey next year. The fact he's a homegrown player probably means he takes up less cap than Davies would.
If it means we have more cap to use in other positions, then it's fine for now.

Cap reductions on Fusitua, plus more for home grown talent dispensation. One year deal, working with the youngsters coming through, I think it’s fantastic to be fair.

My reckoning is that Rob Oates replaces GH in the not too distant future with Ryan Hall taking Robs role.

Lets be honest its just a P.R . stunt to try and keep the supporters on side . It will take more than that to avoid season ticket holders leaving in droves , supporters around me have had enough ! .

What disappoints me is we are going to miss out on signing 34 year old Tom Briscoe , surely having the two of them back would have been the answer .

If it's a means to an end with salary cap and other incomings with Hall, then I can accept it.
I just hope supporters don't start getting on his back, because he is definitely not the player he was.

At least he'll play regularly which is more than can be said about who he's replacing.

he started as a right winger. he'll play there

Play Handley on the side he's best on. For the role Hall is going to be asked to play, it doesn't matter which side he plays on.

Fus out for 8/10 weeks think we should be looking at bringing Hall in this season if cap allows and a deal can be done with HKR.

Goodness me. What did he play, 50 mins? Agree on Hall if HKR can be persuaded. Cap spend on Hall would be minimal, surely?

Played about 50 mins but injured his knee within the first 15 mins of his latest injury comeback

He was injured again very early on and played through, likey making it worse.

Really feel for Fus. We’re having crap luck with injuries yet again.
