| Quote: Juan Cornetto "Fully agree BB and Lunt deserves a credit with a big performance.'"
Yup. Lunt was targeted by their big man and he was a man possessed in defence. Knocked them back and stood up. After a great first stint against Catalans last week he backed it up against Wigan last night.
(if he does go back to Huddersfield next season, he may want to pass on to those under-achievers the will to peak at the right end of the season.)

| Also noticed yer man soon covered the "inside runners" after they got joy out of it once or twice great read and lateral speed to get across and cover the gaps.

| Quote: rhinoms "Agree JC/BB the effort and line speed was immense and more tham matched/out-did the home teams aggression some cracking hits throughout.'"
Yup.
A good example was when Wigan lost control of the ball, farrell (IIRC) dove on it, Baileyt followed him through and drove his shoulder right into him while he was lying there. Forget putting a hand on him to tackle him, bash him! Loved it. All of them in gang tackle situation were brilliant. Smart ploy as they rarely got a quick PTB, Leeds messed around getting them down and beat them at their own game in some aspects.
Bish is worthy of a mention, how many times did he come in to cart the ball up. To help the forwards. Another, under the radar heroes effort. Not sleek or class, just hard work.

| By contrast, the Wigan forwards all have the body shape of SpongeBob Squarepants and the natural intelligence of Patrick Star.

| I thought Bailey was a man mountain 1st half and Delaney all game. Shouldn't single lads out from a display like that but they earned it.

He did what he has been doing for a while. Decent work rate in defence, acceptable work rate in attack. Still doesn't dominate collisions in the way he should.
He doesn't rile me as much these days. I can live with him, though still feel he should do much more.

| Burrow on the bench is unlikely to happen, even if it should

| With Lunt monster defensive effort over the last two weeks he must start, burrow on after 25 minutes for impact. Its a no brainer but Mac will start burrow as we all know

Agree I think that we should start with lunt and have burrow off the bench. Worked well enough last year

| The metres Burrow carved out of nothing were crucial on Friday. If he is to start on the bench I wouldn't leave him there for long. He HAS to be on the pitch in some position.
Wigan wouldn't pout Tomkins on the bench "foir impact" and after Tomkins Burrow is the most dangerous player in the league.
