| According to League Express, 300 fans were locked out.
Suggested that they did not have tickets.
I saw no trouble inside or outside the ground despite the large crowd or the icy conditions.
My group was in the Yale Rd upper stand opposite the 20 metre line so can't comment on the issues highlighted by the Admiral.

| Quote: AdmiralHanson "It is a good job that the Leeds fans are a fairly well behaved mob .... It is interesting to see that the next visitors are our old friends from the black & white side of Hull and a team who's support has a less-than-friendly reputation. If there is a repeat of the shambles we saw last Friday night, then there is the potential for a very serious problem with our fishy friends in town. '"
As someone who has been to a number of FC games as a neutral both home and away I'd say that's verging on the libellous.
I've seen plenty of Leeds fans whose standards of behaviour leave a lot to be desired both home and away - to paint the Rhinos support (and a large part of its travelling support) as angels in comparison to FC fans is way wide of the mark IMO.

I'd agree with that.

I would suggest the police presence at Leeds v Hull compared to police presence at any other game suggest the police see Hull's travelling support as the worst
Leeds fans are definately no angels though

Or, more likely, that a Leeds vs Hull fixture carries a higher risk.
That's not he same thing as Hull's away fans are worse.
In my opinion a Leeds and Hull fixture attracts plenty of bell ends from both cities, but said bell ends quite probably don't attend many other fixtures.

| Certainly games at the well segregated KC seem to bring out the worst in the "Barmy Army", who wouldn't consider behaving in the same way towards home fans at most other grounds where they don't have the same protection.

| I think the issue with the Leeds v Hull FC and the Hull FC v Leeds fixtures, as Puig has pointed out, is that it attracts a high 'bell-end' quotient, more so (I would suggest) then any other fixture in SL. I think that has to do with the 'bell-ends' who would also see themselves as Leeds United and Hull City supporters (because 95% of the support of both those clubs think they are also bell-ends and not supporters).
This is therefore their only current regular opportunity to have a 'bell-end' day out in each other cities and try to out 'bell-end' each other.
Hull, like most other port town/cities in the UK, does seem to have a very slightly higher 'bell-end' quotient than other towns/cities and suspect this is just the historic demographic nature of towns/cities that are ports.
I also think that the KC, being a multi-use stadium suffers from the rules required of it by the FA. As such, although we are not formally segregated (at this or any other ground) we do naturally segregate ourselves. At other grounds this segregation is informally applied and there is no physical barrier in the stadium layout that has been specifically designed as such. At the KC there is a designed barrier between the away fans end and the rest of the ground. Unfortunately, because we don't then formally segregate, the small number of Hull 'bell-ends' position themselves purposely as close to that barrier as possible. I think that brings out the worst in our fans as a whole, as well as the 'bell-ends', and hence the issue with this fixture in general.

| I am not a fan of unreserved seating at matches,it's just asking for problems in my opinion and it sounds like there were many last friday. Each seat and ticket have an aisle and seat number and everyone should be told to sit in that seat and that seat only. Problem solved.

| It wasn't the black and whites that smashed the windows on our coach two seasons ago . It was the other fishy ones .
It was , however , the B&Ws that we caught bullying a 63 yr old man and his grandson in the alley at the back of West Terrace same season . Doubt if those 'fans' will return to HQ after that Ten or so 18/19 yr olds (guessing ages) picking on an old grandad and his lil lad . We couldn't stand by and watch now could we .
Same goes for the Rhinos 'fans' having a go at a large (mainly junior) group of Wigan fans outside Suporters club last year . I just walked in the middle and told the Leeds 'fans' to shut the fk up .
Hooligans everywhere you look .
Keep the banter , Lose the fisticuffs .

| Quote: Old Feller "The ground was very easy to find off the A 483.
There was very good parking immediately adjacent to the ground at a cost of £5.
Impossible to tell how much of it was for blue badge holders due to the snow on the ground.
I can't comment on access into, out of or within the ground except to say that the egress from the Yale Rd stand was through a pretty narrow gate straight on to the road for the car park without any pavement.
HTH.'"
Thanks for the info.
