I don't like the word 'yak' but it's probably the best word to describe Carlsberg.

YAK.

I work on many levels. icon_wink.gif

Yuk is better than yak. Use yuk often me. Carlsberg is pee pee. Only drink it on pound a pint nights that aren't pound a pint anymore.

I've stocked up our incredibly middle class 'wine fridge':

Dandelion & Burdock
Coke
Irn Bru
Some fizzy water to have with Christmas dinner.

You have my card marked sir, my favourite tipples, expecially a good vintage Irn Bru, I can get well blathered on Irn Bru.

What a good job we both live on Temperance Street now.

Today I venture south to Birmingham for our company christmas luncheon, all free, including the booze, tis only a shame that pubs do not serve Irn Bru on draught without tampering with it, adding alcohol and calling it an "alco-pop" for kiddies.

So Weetwood Hall

Free half bottle of vino with your meal which turned into a full bottle for me once i had the taste icon_biggrin.gifRUNK:

Really good night, annoying quiz that interrupted you whilst you ate though. £3 a pint of Lager/Bitter and £3.15 for Guiness which I felt wasn't too bad.

Good music by the DJ and a good laugh with other parties that were in there. Hopefully more of the same next year icon_cheers.gif

That's one of many things I like about Scotland - that every pub and restaurant sells Irn Bru. Truly civilised.

Mind you, I'm as high as a kite and can't sleep after a few cans. God knows what they put in it.
