Oh, and the back to back, having a laugh, RL Fans Predictions League Champion:1113.jpg |

| Quote: FoxyRhino "I realise it was pre-SL but I definitely remember playing Hunslet at Headingley as some of their supporters were sitting by us and shouting at the Leeds players that they were losing ground, to which a Leeds supporter replied "You lost yours years ago".'"
That could have been a Yorkshire Cup game, which I believe is the last time we played them in a competitive game.
I know we won that game after a struggle, and ended up signing Jimmy Lowes on the strength of his performance at scrum-half. Shortly after Open Rugby ran an article saying what a strange decision it was to sign him, but not half as strange as Laughton's decision to play him at hooker. Yeah, really stupid that, he'd never have made a hooker, would he?

| Quote: FoxyRhino "Looking at the article on the Rhinos website listing the games we have played in our history at Elland Road, I was certain we had played Hunslet there but obviously we haven't.
I remember us playing a league game at Headingley against them in the 80's but obviously not whilst they were playing at Elland Road.'"
At first glance the list appears OK, has it been altered?
Quote: FoxyRhino "Anyone know (TVOC) where Hunslet played any home games against Leeds since 1980?'"
Specifically:
23-Oct-79 ….. FT ….. Hunslet 10 ….. Leeds 12 ….. Greyhound Stadium ….. Att: 4,500
6-Apr-80 ….. CHP ….. Hunslet 21 ….. Leeds 7 ….. Greyhound Stadium ….. Att: 2,363
21-Oct-84 ….. CHP ….. Hunslet 2 ….. Leeds 29 ….. Elland Road ….. Att: 6,264
6-Sep-87 ….. CHP ….. Hunslet 8 ….. Leeds 12 ….. Elland Road ….. Att: 7,500
I've added the top one as a bonus as anyone who remembers, it was on a night when the buses stopped running at 6 o'clock for some reason or other and me and a couple of mates legged it home to Pudsey in time for the BBC2 coverage. Some effort that was for 10 o'clock.

Leeds best chance of winning is to play the game in the forwards and a 4 forward bench is the best way to do this. Watkins is in front of Gibson at present so gets the centre spot that allows us to have 4 forwards on the bench.
BTW, that's a hell of a big pack we can put out....

Yep. The Hunslet games weren't there this morning.

| With Burrow and McGuire both on the field together I'd be happy with Sinfield at 9 for 10 mins either side of HT. We still have enough kicking options and I'd expect us to keep the game in the forwards anyway so it's not as though we will be throwing the ball around all over.

| If Burrow plays I'd expect him to do most of the dummy half work while Diskin is given a breather which was McClennan's option in the GF (after Webb had done it in the FE.) Leaving Sinfield and McGuire to operate in the halves as they have been doing so far this season.

| Does anyone know if Burrow is fully fit? I hope he is because we have sure missed him. If not they may have included him in the 19 to confuse Manly. He may start on the bench as not match fit.
