| Quote Clearwing="Clearwing"Can't see any other way than going with what we've got. If we had cap space we'd have used it by now. There's a slim chance of freeing some up mid-season - though I wouldn't bet on it - and in any case, who'd be off-loading quality players then?'"
Players in other teams get injured then they look at cheap fill in options like Mullally walters, thats the only way we will offliad deadwoid mud season.

Cannot run a good line, hope he can cut one otherwise that won’t last either.

| Unless Toronto come calling i can't see Ormandroyd or Walters leaving.
Mullalley will want to stay in the area now that he has his own business in North Lane.

| I still believe that Ormondroyd may end up at York. They are still recruiting for 2019 and looking at loan deals, including loan deals for the England academy youngsters.

| Won't free up much cap though. I guess the prospect of signing another quality player depends upon how underspent we are. I reckon not by much, in which case getting rid of the likes of Ormondroyd and Walters in isolation won't bring in enough to set any wheels in motion. Of those on the alleged list, our best chance was to move on Ash Golding though personally I'm happy enough for him to stay.

| I'd gladly let Golding go if it meant bringing in a top prop

| If you was Ash Golding with 3.5 years left on your deal would you leave Leeds to go to a club like Fev, Bulls or York on a part time basis? Which are realistically the club's he would end up at.
That's the issue Leeds currently have, we gave deals that was too long to some players.
Golding could end up being of some use to us this year, particularly as a good defensive winger who would finish the odd try off. He's probably a safer option to Luke Briscoe but neither are standard Leeds should be looking for really.
I can see Handley been starting winger but Ash could back up that position.

Golding’s way too small for the wing isn’t he though?
I don’t have a problem with Leeds giving Golding the contract they did. This was before Walker had made himself known.
We cant expect loyalty and commitment from the players if the club never shows any.

| We had Golding playing in middle of the park as s 9 last year and he defended well there so I'm sure he could cope as a winger. He's no small than Tom Briscoe in height.
He defended well on Boxing Day there. As a back up I've no issue.

Golding is everyone's favourite scapegoat, the abuse he gets on social media is quite frankly vile. Ever since Walker appeared some people have been trying to drive him out and wanting rid, he never gets praise when he plays well, but even a slight mistake and they want him hung drawn and quartered. There are plenty of players who should be/deserve to be shipped on before Golding.
