It's matagi that's gone to Cas

Rumours from our end is that he wasn,t offered a new contract. Poor by our club not to announce (as yet) anything official. He has been a soild and well liked player for the past few years. I know Matagi & Turner went to Cas but Ta'ai as well?

Rugby league itk reckon we've spoken to jake connors agent twice in the last month and we are in talks with two nrl props (although we are only looking to buy one if them).

If we are interested in Jake Connor might aswell wait until next season when he's off contract. I suspect if we are talking to him it will be about signing him next season.

I agree.Plus this off season all our effort needs to go into improving our forwards.

We are in need of a quality half back to compliment Luke Gale.If he suffers any sort of mid to long term injury this season then we will be rudderless, no disrespect to Callum or Rob. Not sure that Jake Conner fits the right criteria, strikes me as a Leon Price goes missing type character.

Agree 100% Mark
Good player but not a no6 and is certainly not a creative half or one blessed with express pace. Anyway we need to concentrate on the pack this year especially props.

Strange one Connor,

Do I like watching him play? - YES
Do I think he shows glimpses of class? - YES
Do I think hes a poophouse wind up merchant? YES and damn good at it.

Theres just something brilliant about watching Connor pull off a worldie then poophouse the other team after.

I'd love us to have Connor but can't see it.
