I probably agree with the finances due to COVID, but from a squad point of view definitely is an argument for needing 2 before Ava left.

Injuries/form permitting (and I know we haven’t seen 1 of them play for more than a season) technically 3 middles have left this year that would have been in our match day squad week in week out, Cuthbo, Crosby and now Ava and so far we’ve just brought in Tetevano so technically still 2 short to be back where we were??

Totally agree with you and that is what I would do if I was god for a day but I think the club wanted 4 props plus prior if/when needed to cover.

I can see why the Gavet rumours could be true they need to release an overseas player hudds as they have Cogger, Sezar, Edwards, Mcqueen, Ta'ai, Gavet, Leutele and Yates so they currently have 8 overseas players. Gavet maybe wouldn't be a bad replacement for Seumanufagai.

I dont have Sky sports so haven't seen much of Gavet this season has he been any good?

Not in the games I’ve seen. Came over on a wedge and a big reputation that I don’t think he’s lived up to. Giants been looking to offload him and his big salary. They currently have 8 overseas players so need to lose one so Gavet could happen
