Assuming the Tetevano deal is done, I’d still like to see a British Prop (Thompson?) and if Ava goes, another one too.

That would do for now, we bring the kids through some more and then recruit again for what we need after another season reviewing. Pace should be a priority for next closed season recruitment.

As much as i agree Tetevano is likely to be a Marquee salary. I can't see Thompson coming back for anything less than a Marquee salary unless he is absolutely desperate to return to England.

If ava leaves we need two props.not sure we'll get the quality we need in this country.hopefully theres enough diamond we can pick up from aus.or maybe get merrin back.

Might not suite everyone wanting a superstar (I wish we could but finances will dictate otherwise), but I wouldn’t mind us having Batte in the squad. Could go up a level or too with better players around him.

I would go all out for Liam Watts if Thompson wants too much money.
Him and Battye would be my choice.
Whilst a FB is down the pecking order it is a position that if good enough can be the difference of winning or losing trophies.
I`m not saying we only need a FB as prop is our main target without doubt.

Cas would rather see Watts run out in blue and white hoops before sell their prize possession to Leeds. Given the clubs gloomy utterances about the impact Covid has had on finances, pigs will be taking flight before GH forks out a transfer fee in any case. Tetavano, if true, is this years big investment. If Ava goes we'll have to be in the market again but not for a player at the Thompson/Watts level. Alvaro (who has now joined for St George) would have fitted the bill. I think we'll go for a solid journeyman in the Ava mold. Hopefully the club already have someone in mind.

Seth- it wasnt even a genuine link.He presented prior with his poty award and someone somewhere mentioned trying to get him back because the tigers apparently dont want him anymore. Nothing more than that. For me he was good for us but he's not what we need right now.
