Think he's related to Tony "Casper" Smith as well.'"
I don't want it to sound negative, because I am not meaning to, But he is exactly like a Danny Sculthorpe when he was good. A good ball handling prop.
Hopefully he will have a much better attitude than Sculthorpe and therfore make a success of his ability, because let's be honest Danny Sculthorpe could quite easily have been a world beater.

Unfortunately he had an older brother called Paul, and was always going to get p1ssed off with the inevitable, and usually negative comparisons.

| I used to enjoy our local rivalry against the Bulls, these days I just feel sorry for them.

Even my Cas supporting work friends will agree that Daniel Smith always wanted to play for the Rhinos first before Cas, a bit like Rob Burrow did previously even though he was from that area
Daniel is also related to Casper, but then again who isn't related to each other in Cas?

I started to feel sorry for them. But then they played "We will rock you" in the middle of a match when Bradford made a break. Pure annoyance of the highest order.
Then they have wan*ers driving quads and buggies around the track when they score which stop in front of the away fans to gloat. This gives me feeling of F off to the championship will you.

Couldn't agree more! It's not ice hockey or basketball! Didn't they also have crowd noise like the Nazis in escape to victory?

My sympathy for their current plight of only 11 points from 27 games, was lessened when some muppet on their site banned me for suggesting that this weeks game against Wigan could be a 70 pointer. All on a topic where there was general agreement on a 50 point humping and that they were the worse team in SL!
Strange people I expect they'll pick up a bit when playing against Halifax, Dewsbury or Batley on a regular basis.....

would that be competant?

Actually I might have worded it wrong, but I did mean complacent. They were certainly competent lads, but took a wrong attitude into that particular game in my opinion. They were very arrogant and complacent, thinking they had the game won, and very nearly blew it.

Yep. I've only seen highlights, thanks to the Leeds website, but just comparing the highlights of the Fev game v highlights of their other games you could tell there was a difference in mentality for some reason. Their passing in particular looked awful. The U18's are quite a bit better than that performance and they should be annoyed at that game.
Id agree about the big lad at prop! Saw him really making yards and pushing the defence back. Nice to see a big lad in the youth setup for a change! We haven't had many recently!
