| No arguments here, tonight we were well beaten by a better team, the referee had no bearing on the result, on another day with a little bit of luck we May have been more of a challenge for Leeds but for now well done Leeds and see you back at headingley.
Ps as much as maguire gets under my skin when he plays us it was good to see him back and just knew he would pop up with his customary try.

Watching on TV sometimes I wasn't even sure if he'd given the ball or not!
THe play when we broke up their last tackle play and he chipped through and forced a drop out was sheer class. SOmetimes you just have to stand and applaud!

| Forget the score, it was a blowout in the end, the performance is the thing to focus on. We were much better than we have been in the early part of the season in terms of structure, patience, execution, and dare I say it discipline. We gave away penalties, but the overall discipline was better. We had (some) dummy runners, and options with ball in hand, an generally didn't throw the suicide balls we did earlier in the season. Maybe the coach has learned from our mistakes and changed the gameplan to something more sensible and achievable.
If you wanted to look for negatives, Senior continues to underperform in the Centres and is a defensive liability, never sticking to the structure and exposing those outside him time and again. His handling was also poor, typified by the knock back which looked great but hid a poor take of the ball in the first place. As soon as Smith is fit I woul put him on the wing and put Watkins in the left centre. Another negative was the number of times we finished a set poorly. We (Burrow) were caught in possession on the last tackle a few times and our kicking game still needs a lot of work, evidenced by the lack of field position in the first half.
Overall, another step forward, and the first time this season we have beaten a team above us, but there will be bigger and harder tests to come.

Agree with most of that. I think we need to make a decision on Watkins because he looks a bloody good winger to me, and at times not a great centre. It might be a better option to play Smith at centre

Usually, not always. We got the rub of the green tonight but probably deserved it

| Chase is a fantastic SL player who looks good in the Cas team, but would look even better if he was surrounded by better quality forwards.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| For me Chase is a very average player that looks good in a pretty poor side - that have struggled to perform as they come up against better sides - when do they play Wigan?

| I thought that was our best performance of the season by some distance. Defence was outstanding...fast line speed, very few missed tackles, hunted as a pack.
Burgess, Ablett, JJB and Kylie all made a lot of metres up the middle of the pitch. McShane looked very good too.
And having Peacock and McGuire back just made us realise what we were missing.
Basically - a very good day at the office for Rhinos. Do that every week and they'll be up there. Just need the consistency now.

| Thought Cross was very good tonight actually, can see him being spelled well with Peacock as he is looking more like the prop we wanted. A no nonsense metre making prop to ease the load on Jamie, and at this rate we may get that.

| Agreed. But if Cross concedes another penalty whilst we're in possession I will scream.

He did what he has done most of the year, with limited game time.
The critics will point to him giving away another silly penalty with the ball but he is still no more penalised per game than any of our other props.
Having said that, and defended him all year, I'm not sure he's in front of Leuluai, Biffa, Bailey or Peacock in out prop rotation.

| What about Kirke, is he in front of Kirke? Not on the last 3 games he isn't. Kirke has improved out of sight in the last 3 games, now he needs to keep it up.
