| Quote Sgy Loiner="Sgy Loiner"Not sure if it’s being mentioned, but really enjoyed the Box Two episode with Arthur. Doesn’t seem like he’s going accept any kind of $hit, and looking forward to seeing how Newman behaves under him.'"
I'll make an effort to watch that one then, thanks for the heads up.
TBF I think Brad is just the kind of no-nonsense coach we deserve and should've appointed previously.

| Is anybody else really not bothered if we just look elsewhere for next season?
Apparently Langley is doing the defensive work which we look much better on. Offensively we are dire.
I don?t see Arthurs taking us to the next level and he will be off anyway first chance he gets. Lets just get someone else lined up for next year!

| Personally I hope Arthur stays. He?s only had 1 preseason and the squad has changed a lot.
He?s got us much fitter, playing with far more intensity and generally we have better field Position than under Rohan Smith. We are also defending better and conceding fewer tries.
The next step is the attack, this is the hardest part. I think it?s hard to get much going in attack with no pace in the spine and we have at best limited and at worst poor options at 7 and 9 at present.
These are the key areas to improve in the next recruitment cycle as well as possibly looking at left Centre and moving Handley to wing.
If Arthur goes back to Aus,I can?t see many appealing candidates. No idea who we could get from Aus. If we need to go for a UK based coach, Personally , I would give Rowley a miss and go for Tommy Leuluai.

| Always liked Danny Ward but think that ship has sailed. Justin Holbrook if he fancies another go in the UK. Only downside to him coming is our cheerleaders are much younger than they used to be.

What was the last game you attended? We did away with cheerleaders 4 years ago?..

| As much as I like BA and what he has done so far for the team. I do think we need to be giving him an ultimatum in that we need an answer by the end of May one way or another. We don`t want to be getting to the end of the season looking for a new coach and there`s also the issue of new signings wanting to come to the club cos Arthur is there. If they don`t know that for sure they could look elsewhere.

| I get the feeling Weve already had it behind closed doors and were just not announcing it, not until we can come up with a solid replacement anyway.
Dont think BA is one to pish the club around and will let them know in due course but recently I think the distance between him and his family is really starting to bite and of course hes still got NRL coaching ambitions. If only we could've seen through these changes back in 2019.

Agree with this. BA as good as said he wasn't staying in his interview after Salford. For its own credibility, the club simply cannot afford to announce he's going without announcing his successor at the same time. As has been said elsewhere, providing certainty will be key for retention and recruitment.

| News Corp reporting BA will be unveiled as Perth Western Bears for 2027. Not sure whether that's good or bad news for us.

| Well it would bring the uncertainty to an end, so that's a good thing. Where we go from here is anyone's guess. We need another coach who understands the value of hard work in a contact sport. Personally I think it's a year too early for Jamie Langley to take over directly, that would feel like we're going for the easy rather than right option if we did it now.
