The still suggest the fist wasn't clenched though. Although a still doesn't ever tell the whole story.
Regardless, I imagine a couple of game ban will head his way.

From watching on the screen, it was closed as it came across Widdop into contact. Holmes's fist was open and that was the difference that the referee pointed out both in conversation with the TMO and also in the explanation to Leeming as captain.

| Really unlucky not to get the 2 points. I thought the try by Charnley right before half time was a big moment in the game. Ratchford sledging to Rhyse Martin at full time was bermusing, I think they were at it all game judging from watching the game back. On to Wigan!

Probably didn’t know about Rhyse’s dad. He’s a good bloke Is Ratchford and am sure will apologise.

| Most stuff has already been covered.
What should the correct call have been regarding Charnley tackling Handley without the ball just before Handley scored? Penalty try, 8 point try, yellow card?

| I would like to see Prior receiving the ball at pace. He seems to be standing waiting for it to come to him and then think about what he's going to do.

| Big Willie Poching now saying these soft reds and yellows are ruining the spectacle. I agree and well done to him for speaking out……

That is interpretation at best. If that was a rule then it would say in order to tackle you must have an open hand and not a clenched fist. If that arm was lower around the chest with a clenched fist then nothing comes of it, you don’t say oh the tackle was made but you had a clenched fist and your intent wasn’t to tackle.
Poor technique from Bentley, was a red card for me as hits the head. My big issue is this clenched fist thing, it’s rubbish and makes no difference. Just say you’ve made contact directly to the head so it’s a red card. Problem is if that’s the rule then Currie is probably a red card as well.

| Surely this clenched fist chat is irrelevant as there was no clenched fist. The fact of the matter is that it was a direct shot to the head. You cannot do that nowadays.
Winning two games out of 18 with Kendall in charge is of concern. We clearly cannot play to a style that suits his officiating.

I think it’s 2 wins out of 11, a win rate of 18%. I was not there on Saturday and have not seen the game. So I’m not saying this based on the wire game but what I saw last year, but I think Kendall may have a bias against Leeds. I don’t believe he is doing it on purpose and if it’s there is an unconscious bias.
It may just be we are getting on the wrong end of incompetence and in time the luck will change, however it’s pushing against the law of averages at the moment for mine.

| I'm struggling to understand how they've deemed that Dwyer's sin binned tackle is worthy of further punishment, but Currie knocking Fusitua out isn't.
That it was accidental is surely neither here nor there - Dwyer didn't mean to tackle late but he got ten minutes and now a match ban. Fact is that Currie hit Fusitua in the head with his shoulder - that's his fault as it's his shoulder and his responsibility to make sure he doesn't knock people out. As a result we lost our winger for the second half and the next match, we didn't even get a penalty and Currie is free to carry on.
They're either serious about player welfare or they're not. This sends out the message that they're not particularly.

| It was 2 wins out of 11 from 2020 onwards. In 2019 he allegedly refereed us 7 times and we lost all 7.
I think we have clearly upset him and now do not get any 50:50 calls. I'm sure we had similar when we publicly criticised Silverwood following the final with Bulls. I don't think Kendall goes out to intentionally penalise Leeds but subconsciously, I think there is an issue.
Leeds just have to learn to be extra clean when playing with Kendall and hopefully in time, he will think higher of Leeds and give us a fairer share of calls.

| Kendall is a big Hudds Town fan and when they were in the premiership and Leeds Utd in Div 1 he had regular digs with his petty Marchings gone forever social media posts. So while a different sport he prob thinks very little of us either.

Seems pretty correct to me. Clearly Kendell is biased, he deliberately choose to ignore forward passes hand in touch knock ones. Head high shoulders. He should nit he anywhere bear a super league game, time the club took action around this, and disciplinary are putting people of going to games. It has me.
