Well that was diabolical.
2 bottom 4 teams. Neither deserved to win.
We are so far off the top 6 it’s incredible.
Clueless, disorganised, ill disciplined, full of mistakes. Really awful.
I have no idea what they spend the week working on.

Gannon was excellent.
King looks like he could be really useful.
Struggling to find any other positives.
Too many senior players that are just not good enough.

I’m sure some people will make a big deal of the fact that we won (and polish up the CC trophy win from last year again....)
But fact is that we are bottom 4 and need major surgery to change that, starting with the coaching, which clearly isn’t working.

As I sit amid tufts of hair I used to own I console myself with the certain knowledge that young Gannon is a hell of a prospect.

Two really poor teams errors with ball all over pitch no attacking threat with ball from either team. Thankfully for us we've come out on right-side of result got 2 desperately needed points. O'Connor, Gannon gave great effort for young lads some great carries, Oledski gave a very strong performance again gave a brave and excellent pass in golden point for Hurrell too make his break, Hurrell himself came up with 2 big plays his try & break in GP but had plenty of errors too go a long side those. Prior worked hard as usual apart from that can't think of anyone else who had a half decent game. Gale was trying too lead us but looked rusty after being out a few weeks he stepped up when we needed him with the drop goal was very calm and we'd have probably not got too golden point if he didn't play tonight. I for one think we need the captains challenge like the NRL because the amount of decisions officials get wrong and change momentum and cost teams is ridiculous. Anyway a wins a win a couple more troops back and hopefully of a more balanced team and see how we go.

Vuniyayawa was very good.

That's because every time he does it's a knock on. He brings bags of effort but there is no quality. None! He can't be a quality centre, let alone a half.

The rules sound an absolute lottery on radio. Set restart, 6 again, 7 tackle set, stupid hooter blaring out mid-Acton.....
Ridiculously over complicated. don't think anyone new to the game would have a clue what c was going on....!

We have benefited from it tonight but can we scrap the ball steal rule. It makes for a scrappy play the ball and then you sometimes hear the ref shout 6 again due to hands on the ball! No wonder the players look confused at times.

Tonight was a different scenario, the tackle was completed with the man on the floor before it was ripped

It'll come right, quite enjoyed it to be honest. Some decent individual performances, just didn't click as a team at all though that's hardly surprising. Good to see O'Connor and Gannon go so well

serious good post , Throw in long and chev and a lot of cooks no broth. Caddick originally saved the ground and guarantored initial rebuilds but i've also had the feeling he recouped with building contracts around leeds through his involvement, sts is good example of maintaining entertaining rugby regardless who they replace

If you can’t pick Oledski as a standout from that game you should give your head a wobble. Superb.

Prior solid as per. Mellor solid in D. O’Connor lively. Gannon same. Gale brought control but his game sharpness is off. Hurrell was good I thought. King was good too.

Tetevano back next week, that will harden up the pack a bit.

I’d have taken the win before the game and thought we just about deserved it but we desperately need a 6 in there.

Well I enjoyed it.

Thrills, spills, tension, and the sweet taste of victory!!

Not the finished product yet, but both teams clearly were desperate for the win so explains the lots-of-effort-but-plenty-of-errors flavour of the game.

I haven't checked the wakey board but I suspect that might not be the unanimous view

Back now. Gale will take a few games to improve. Eastmond will be better coming back in with Gale.
Gannon, King and O'connor sound like they went really well. Walters sounded really poor and ? People on here Overrated him?
Let's see how next few games go. We need a win from either Hull or Cas.
