I think he may be Brown's replacement at Widnes from next year.

Not entirely sure. With him being linked to numerous SL clubs I'd say it's a deal till the end of the year. If they get promoted he will sign with them, if not he will get a deal with a SL club?
Is he any good? Would he be a proper ace signing if we got him next year?

Not sure but probably better than what we have at present.
I don`t think he will be pulling up trees but again might be the best that is available.
Even though Widdop is deemed as not an organising half back I still think he could do a job for us too.
Is he out of contract next year?

Rumor is that he is going to St George which would free up Benji, I think he would relish the extra time on the ball in SL but would require some serious cash, it would a risk to make him our marque player but one imo we should take

| Yep he will do.
But GH wouldn't pay Aiton any more and would not up the bid for Luke Gale who I would imagine is nowhere near what Marshall is on.

GH will pay big money, after all the likes of Peacock, Webb, Buderus & Ellis didn't come to us for peanuts. What GH won't do, in general, is pay what he considers over the odds for a player.

| according to a Leeds first team player you have to negotiate with GH.
apparently Ailton went in and said Catalan are offering this, what are you going do?
Gary's reaction was to say what a great deal , have s good time and don't slam the door on your way out

He also loses his marbles and gets desperate. We all know the rumours on Achurch. And you can bet your house that Falloon will have been on more than Aiton was on. I would say there is clear historical evidence to suggest he does pay over the odds, but probably not intentionally.

| I'm just not sure how we could fit Segayaro, Soward and an upgrade to Ferres contract without Hardacre and Achurch both coming off the wage bill. It may be we would have to take a serious hit on Hardacre's value to enable this. Maybe this could be JJB's last year or we could transfer list Delaney as this might enable it.

Holding somones registration doesn't mean they are on the cap.

Ferres isnt wororth an upgrade, he hasn't been nearly as dangerous as he was at Huds and is a penalty machine, if he asks for more money then bin him off and use it to strengthen in the key positions we need
He also probably won't start when Ward and Ablett are fit anyway

Ward will likely be LF on a regular basis once he regains fitness and form.
Also I feel Ferres has been judged a bit harshly. in typical BmD fashion he has used him like all back rowers, as bash it up the middle prop types.
His best games for Hudds came when he was utilised out wide, sadly we never seem to get good or early ball to our fringes this season and given how poorly we have done I think blaming a single forward who played big minutes until injury isn't too fair.
