Of course would rather a more marquee signing as i still don't think we have enough money for a decent signing, but i think as a backup player he would be good, because he can cover a number of positions.

Is the rumour on Facebook that he's joining us? I though he was going to Wakefield? Surely we can do better than Obst. Remember GH said that he was only interested in players who could improve the team's performance!

Ye apparently, there are better players out there, but like i said above not bad backup.

The message coming out loud and clear from last season should be: (unless you're the type who never miss a home game - and I appreciate you probably are) save your money, pick and choose your games and if you want to see what's really going on make sure your Sky subscription (other rip-off subscription services are available) is kept up to date.

Leeds have lost Senior, Buderus, Lauitiiti, Cross and Burgess while bringing in Moore and Griffin and likely as not filling the remaining gaps with fringe players with the remaining squad places going to unknown quantities from the junior ranks.

IMO that (if that is all that happens) will test the nerve and pockets of club and fans alike.

Very exciting backline, the centre pairing has so much potential. Good to see Ablett should be starting the year in the second row as well. Will be interesting to see how he uses Burrow though this season, whether he starts and is spelled at 9 or whether he comes off the bench.
Also looks like Ambler will be leaving/going out on loan with him not even in the top 25.

I've just read on George Riley's twitter that Keith Senior will not be accepting the Rhinos pay as you go offer. Probably not unexpected. Does this alter any squad plans?
