Take todays challenge cup game for example. Between perennial bridesmaids Huddersfield Giants, and CC winners warrington wolves.
The game finished 60-4 to warrington.
That illustrates how close huddersfield are to the top teams. |

| Leeds fans boasting after beating Blackpool RLFC, well done boys and you may get to the final this year as long as you avoid one of the big teams.
Huddersfield did not take Wire lightly today, we were completely outclassed by a better team but unlike Weeds we will admit when this happens.
Has the bubble burst at the Giants? possibly but only time will tell but remember as you have been harping on nothing is won in March, April or even May!!!!! 
We were 2nd best today and Wire will be hard to beat if they put another 80 mins of rugby like that together again against a team who can play as bad for 80 mins. TBH don't think either will happen but still Wire will be hard to beat.
So to top it off Well done Wire you deserved it, Well done Weeds on just edging ahead after 40 mins against a very strong Blackpool outfit, maybe it was Weeds that were their arrogant selves who thought it would be easy until they got a shock and an almighty rollocking at halftime no doubt, I stand by what I have said and you are not the team you were and will not win the title this season.
