yeah we miss him there. Gnonto form has dipped when he's gone to left wing.. Farke got his subs wrong last night, that was a game for Joseph's legs and work rate off the ball. Made them far too late. They are very well organised and in very good form. I'd have snapped their hands off at a draw.

We dominated without threatening enough. But we move on to the next one, that was always a very very tough fixtrue and one where a loss was a possibility

Is there a team in the Championship that needs as made chances as Leeds do to score?

Yeah spot on Tad. Beautiful finish from Piroe. Bogle was very good imo, Shmidt did well when he came on too, looks decent on the ball. Should have had 4 or 5 though. I’d like us to bring in a goal scorer at 10 in Jan if it’s possible (granted a very tricky time to do so). We’d p*** this league if we had that. There’s not much from the bench in that position ( Aaronson doing ok though)

I`m back after sailing the high seas for a week.
Disappointed with the loss at Millwall and by all accounts Meslier didn`t move his feet fast enough to save the goal.
Caught the QPR game and thought Solomon and Joseph were poor.
Great finish by Piroe though and I like the look of the loan signing.
Ampadu and Gruev will be sweating about getting back in to that midfield.
Bit of a pish take banning Firpo less than 24 hours before the game.
But if he did headbutt their player I`d be tagging another game to his 3 games as punishment from the club, what an idiot.

He didn't, although, his poor clearance led to the free kick.

and it's his fault something happened over a minute after the kick? really???

how about james f##king up a simple cross for a piroe tap in?

nobody challenging for the header that led to the goal or the scorer being totally free in the box?

I'm not a huge meslier fan, I said I've have signed the Rotherham keeper who went to stoke. but this whole let's blame him for anything is ridiculous and boring

Same players get blamed every week when we don’t win, it’s always Meslier, Aaronson, Bamford or Piroes fault.

He does miss some saveable ones but harsh to give Meslier stick for the Millwall game

Like I said I didn`t see the Millwall game so cannot comment on his performance.
Overall though I do not think he is good enough and we should have got someone better and that someone isn`t Darlow.
But we are stuck with him this season.
Read an article on Sunday that says Aaronson lost 14 of his 19 duels on Saturday and is the most dispossessed player in the Championship attributing it to his lack of physicality.
Personally thought he had a decent game.
Piroe does get some stick but overall I don`t think he is as bad as what people think and his scoring ratio is right up there.

Think Ramazani is right footed Tad. He’s another one of these fashionable ‘inverted’ wingers. That means we have James, Gnonto, Ramazani and Solomon all right footers playing out wide, with three of them playing mostly on their “wrong” side. Like I said, I think it’s poor recruitment and kills momentum and the shape of the team with players constantly checking back to try and work the ball onto their stronger foot when they should be getting outside of defences and crossing the ball. Yes we want quality players like Ramazani, and we want strength in depth, but to not have a genuine left footed wide player is negligent and pretty strange at this level. I don’t know if it’s Farke’s preference to play with inverted wingers, or the players telling Farke where they prefer to play, but I think it kills us at times. The likes of Saka at Arsenal prefer to play that way, and he had a pet lip on when he was asked to fill in wide left for England in the World Cup. He then went on to play as an inverted right winger in the final and got marked out of the game by a player that couldn’t even get a game with his Premiership team. There’s a lesson right there.
