| Good start but their class has taken over. We've made some errors but so have Melbourne. At least some of ours have come from having a go although the failure to take the Drop out was a critical and sloppy one.
Ward and Walker off hurt, if they can't return it's looking bleak.

| Probably shows mcdermott up for his poor coaching style when coming up against NRL clubs.

| Danny Maguire & Robbie Burrow was always going to be a tough pair to replace, but who’s idea was it at Leeds to get Myler in? Wire happy to let him go and so was a poor Catalans club. Surly Leeds have a youngster better then him, Leeds will not do well as long as he’s the main hb, he just hasn’t got it in his locker to dictate a game.

| No, the quality of the team and the comp they play in that doesnt create pressure is the issue. Add to that that Leeds have no organising half, moons not a HB, can get away with it in SL, not here.

| For every class player/athlete we have over here theyve got 5. In SL Watkins doesnt get caught on that break.

| I’m no Leeds fan but I do feel for them a bit in this one.
Going into the match lacking a couple of regular Front rowers then losing Walker and Ward during the game is hard to manage. Surely Oledski would have been good off the bench for 10 minutes each half, I know he’s young but the experience would be massive for him.
Abletts been poor, he was at fault for Storms first 2 try’s and has generally been expensive in terms of lost possession etc.
Moon gamble hasn’t paid off, he’s been anonymous for the most part and ineffective otherwise
Sutcliffe has been one of Leeds better players as has Watkins but for all the wrong reasons, his work rate and off loads being top quality but we really want to see him getting opportunities to run and creat out wide.
Myler was good while Leeds had a fair share of possession but there’s not much he can do when Melbourne have dominated so much.
I don’t think the refs have been fair to Leeds at times particularly Sutton who I just don’t trust at all also the video Ref has been pretty quick to award two rather contentious Melbourne scores.

| Leeds squad has seen multiple class players leave without replacement this decade, doesn't affect the position in Super league too badly but makes us look unworthy of a world championship.

Plenty of players in SL that catch Watkins there, unfortunately, he’s just not as quick as some make out. And if you want an example, Marshall at Wigan, that kid is lightning quick. You are spot on about the quality of players ratio.

| Can’t believe I just won quite big with that score line, exact score correct, and half time score. Lucky both counts with the late tries each half.
Don’t think score was reflective of performance, but they took their chances we didn’t. We can get by with weak links in our comp, but at that level the opposition don’t have the same weakness. Great effort though.
