Bobbsy do you not think the effort shown, with badly depleted teams, against Cas, Saints and Wigan was pretty decent? Fridays performance against KRnt wasnt acceptable i think we would all agree on that including the coaching staff and players but to be calling for the coach's head when hes done a pretty solid job in a short space of time after taking over a complete mess does seem a bit knee jerk in truth.
I do believe we are in a much healthier position than when he took over. We are still without some big players in Gale and Tetevano who should both return shortly. Wouldnt you agree its too early to panic?

There we go. Another buzz word on here 'panic'. To critisize and look to debate possible ways of improvement on here is 'panic'. Again kills debate......

What word should be used to call for the sacking of a coach after 1 bad performance? I was also referring to it as the club shouldnt panic not the poster.
It only kills a debate if the person calling for the sacking has zero response back surely? I ask again, but to you this time, did you not find the effort shown by badly depleted teams against Cas, Saints and Wigan as acceptable?

I know you guys have on the whole been quite happy with what Agar has done since he joined you, but I will never be convinced that he is a good coach. He isn't the answer for you.

Yeah we know that. It was only ever a short term plan when we were desperate.
We wouldn't need to sack him either as he'd happily go back to director of rugby or whatever he was before. The bigger problem is the lack of fitness and quality in the squad. Without an in form Gale we are clueless...

That depends what the question is and how you see the club at the minute.
If you look at Leeds like the golden generation era and say we should be winning everything then no he probably isnt the answer
but that era has gone and it isnt reality to expect that of the club at the moment.
If the question is do we need a steady hand to steer the club in the right direction to lay a platform for possible future success then i believe he is the answer. If you look at where the club was the week he took over to where we are now hes done a decent job. Ok, Covid has given kids games they probably wouldnt have got but theres been some positives there. Hes lifted a trophy and hes worked well with Sinfield.
Lets not forget it was Daryl Powell that started the golden period by steadying a mess of a ship and developing a spirit with young players that led to the success after. Thats probably where we are at the minute.

Strange move to go back to Davidson on the Strength/Conditioning side this season, one of the early decisions Sinfield made when he became DOR was to remove Davidson from the role.

| When you have a team with large number of average players you end up with an average side. This is where Leeds are right now - when you have Donaldson, Leeming, Martin, Mellor, Briscoe x2, Thompson, Dwyer in your side you will struggle - the club needs an overall of both the playing squad and the coaching/fitness approach if it wants to be challenging to win the SL again. How many of these players would feature at Saints, Wigan, Warrington, Hull?
