Huh, that's nowt. We ran with JJB for a while. Like having an RE teacher for a coach..

| Can't remember the last time we had a full fit backline squad numbers 1-7 available to play together. I think Rohan will go for this match day squad
1. Myler
2. Fusitu'a
3. Newman
4. Macdonald
5. Handley
6. Austin
7. Sezer
8. Holroyd
9. O'Connor
10. Tetevano
11. Mcdonnell
12. Martin
13. Smith
Subs
14. Bentley
15. Lisone
16. Walters
17. Johnson
I think Fusitu'a & Macdonald will be our right side & Newman & Handley our left side we've definitely got some strike in our backline hopefully we get to see it at full force Friday night

| I too would go with that 17 JR.
Leeds Rhinos 21-man squad: Richie Myler, David Fusitu'a, Harry Newman, Nene Macdonald, Ash Handley, Blake Austin, Aidan Sezer, Zane Tetevano, James Bentley, Rhyse Martin, Cameron Smith, Jarrod O'Connor, Sam Lisone, Derrell Olpherts, Tom Holroyd, James McDonnell, Sam Walters, Luis Roberts, James Donaldson, Corey Johnson, Leon Ruan.
Also good that we still have Sangare, Leeming, Gannon, Olpherts and Tindall to consider next week and have Mik and Hooley still in with a shout not long after that.

| We've actually got a good squad with some decent competition for places. I think we'll see Rohan picking players on form and rotating the squad. Players should have to play their way back into the team as it should be. We've had too many years of players walking back in because there was nobody to realistically take their spot

His wife went into labour during the Saints game (he chose to play on)
So he's on paternity leave.

| Can someone in the family stand look after Sangare's child for him so he can play on Friday?

Paternity leave??
Surely he can spare 80 minutes?
Or about 15 minutes in his case.

Would you say ‘fine I’ll come in’ if your wife and new baby needed you, and you were entitled to some leave from work to help out? If it was a playoff game maybe, but not for this no….

FWIW - yes I would.
But each to their own.
I find it strange that he was happy to play when she was going into labour, but isn't playing a week later.

Sounds like he’s not got any family over here at the moment hence why they’ve given him paternity leave.

Who said he wasn't happy to play this week? Sounds like Rohan made the decision for him. It's a great thing that the club are prepared to support players in this way and might well pay off the next time he comes to renegotiate his contract.

| Good on him and Rohan, you don't get these early days with a new born back. He would have to train through the week and be around the team for a good chunk of tomorrow so it's not just like he does his stint and he's off. Strange views that a dad would just keep working. Not to mention they won't have extended family here to support.

New baby with no family support over here, well personally im glad the club and Rohan are looking out for them tather than making them train and play this week. rRS seems big on olayer welfare and i think that’s great.
Same goes for Gannon, RS has saod theres no need to rush him back and they need to look at why he’s getting these knocks rather than just throwing him back out there.

| I find it very amusing that 81 minutes of rugby ago we were the worst team in the league and RS needs to go. Now we are challanging for the LLS and have one of the best squads in the business. I love this sport and its supporters ))
