| I run the Prediction Comp on the Wire Board and one of the guesses is the attendance v Warrington (it's the only chance of some of us getting a point this week ha ha) has it been confirmed anywhere?
Well done on the win and thanks in advance

| For me it all changed when I had kids. Friday nights didn't fit into my lifestyle and gradually I didn't renew my season ticket and stopped going as much. Luckily my oldest 2 are getting into it and we're going to more games now, but they have to be weekends and there aren't many of them. For me it would be great to get more weekend matches and at more reasonable prices. The 3 of us sat in the south stand and it cost about £70. A far cry from when we got in for free as kids at half time.

Exactly the same - young kids make Friday nights very difficult, they’re tired and grumpy as hell come 8pm, never mind 9:30/10pm. It then has a knock on effect into Saturday, coz they’re still tired and therefore inevitably naughty on the Saturday. So, Friday nights are generally a no go, particularly if it’s on Sky - there’s no benefit to actually going to the game in person in our scenario.
We go to more away games than we do home games - the kids love it, but I do miss the routine of being a ST holder, and really wish I could give the kids the same experience I had as a kid of going to Headingley every other week, standing in the same spot, getting to know those who stand around you..... Will just have to wait until the youngest is around 8

And that's where I think friday night games have a negative on young kids coming to watch who are the future of the sport. My daughter whos 7 watches much more football than RL as it's on when shes awake usually sat avo sun avo etc and it's made her really get into it. She hardly sees RL with it being on late thurs n fri.

I'm 2 way on this. I don't doubt that Fridays are bad for young kids. However, for teenagers wanting to sup the odd under-age ale, chant, sing etc away from the influence of their parents it's much better (not necessarily for those of us who have to suffer their antics, mind). But like it or loathe it, some of them too are the fans of the future - and there's fewer years until they'll be paying top dollar for the privilege, a fact I'm sure that won't have escaped GH...

Thursday nights are even worse. At least with a Friday if the kids have a late night then they don't have to be up early for school the day after.

| I would imagine Friday nights are all about Corporate, which will make the club far more money than the actual attendance.
As I say I much prefer Friday nights to any other nights/days but I totally understand why people would prefer Sunday afternoons.

| Friday night for me also as its the start of the weekend and I can have a beer. If Leeds introduced more Sunday games then I would not renew as I believe there is already too many Thursday and Sunday games.
