Not sure what you have seen impressive with Mellor. 10 minutes aside at Wigan he has looked pretty poop. Hopefully more to come.

I have to agree on Muizz. Voiced the concerns since early last year. But the qualities he does have are the same which gave JJB a long career despite.

We'll probably be taking them all in.

Mellor looked ok at Wigan but im not sure where he will fit in unless we get injuries, which will happen with Wardy no doubt. He probably should get a bench spot but that will probably go to Donaldson cos he makes 5 metres a season


Muizz is fine hes strong and powerful so his size isnt as important as others his size. Like other kids though its all about getting a chance.

I agree about Muizz I just don't think he's big enough for SL. Walters on the other hand has everything to be a top second rower.

Donaldson works his socks off and would definitely make my 17, as would Cuthbertson for his offloads.

I'd rather have Newman in centres, Hurrell was better on other side for Tonga, Lui looks unfit, I prefer a prop at LF against Hull, and I'd drive Sutcliffe and Cam Smith to Fev myself.

For Hull if Seumanufagai is out as well as Leeming and T.Briscoe I'd feel more confident if we had.

But like many have stated L.Sutcliffe will probably be at Centre with Newman on wing. I really like Donaldson work hard for his team and does the dirty work, but Holroyd has a chance to shine especially if Seumanufagai is missing early doors of season and every minute he gets in first team will make him develop into the class prop he could be, and Smith has performed well in the 13 role this pre season I think and is his to lose imo.

How on earth does Broadbent and Mustapha make your 17?

Ava is injured. There's not really anyone else left other than Mustapha, unless you want to put Evans on the bench. I doubt he could step up from Championship level now. I think that deal was just doing cash strapped Dulls a favour.

I'd rather give our youngsters a chance to prove themselves than miss the boat in the second tier.

I wouldn’t start with Cuthbertson. I think his propensity for offloading puts us under pressure when we’re trying to establish ourselves early on but can be very useful later in the first half.

I like the idea of bringing Smith on after 20 mins. So I’d use Mellor as a workhorse for first 20 mins then bring Smith on for him. Cuthbertson can spell Ava as Ava will need longer breaks you’d imagine. Oledzki used as a wrecking ball to spell Prior.
