Just stop the constant bickering between the same 2 or 3 posters. It's boring as fuk to be honest, the majority of threads end up being derailed by them.

It happens on all boards,it makes things interesting and avoids the norm.The norm being pi$$ boring at times.If you want boredom there are plenty libraries around,go grab a membership.

It's a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion.You either agree with the opinion or post against it.Just because you post something doesn't make it right,its your opinion.But be willing to retreat when your wrong is another thing.

Actually its duller than a library when you get two posters writing ever-lengthening posts to each other (often with page long cut and paste quotes), knowing full well that regardless of their argument all they'll get back is more of the same. Everyone does it a bit, but some people just seem to be unable to stop. Its like two people with Tourettes arguing, only without any interesting tics or colourful language for us bystanders.

I'd hazard a guess that the reason some posters have left (or no longer post as often here) is more to do with the season that's just taken place, the poor standard of rugby league on offer and the fact that Leeds season was effectively all over just after Easter and the CC exit which followed soon after.

Where's the motivation to read the forums (never mind contribute) during such a miserable season of tripe that's been served up? Fans are just bored and there's been next to nothing to discuss or get excited about.

It's utter nonsense that a load of posters have disappeared simply because a handful of posters have been bickering among themselves.

So if I'm having an 'argument' with for example Smokey or Sal.....how does this prevent these "decent posters" from posting something on that thread that is still on topic but away from the aforementioned "argument"?
