Farrell I think was solid. Managed to cut out the Wigan tactics a lot more than O'Loughlin and was top tackler by a margin. Considering Whitehead on the other side then Farrell was a good improvement.

Watkins looked very lively first half when others struggled, produced some good steps and gain extra yards through them. Quieter as the game went on but due to lack of service.

It was just nice when a bomb went up because we didn't have to watch it come down through our fingers for a change.

I think it's nice having a fullback at international level who can catch and tackle.

And I agree, Tuivasa-Sheck much safer with the ball than Kevin Locke ever was.

That's unfair on Locke who is much better under the high ball and a better defender than Tomkins.

Though Sheck did knock on tonight and failed to stop Ferres twice, infact Ferres stepped him.

Sheck is a flop and 1-nil to Hardaker.

Agree and also sheck has never played out of his comfort zone. They need to get rid

We didn't really play in a way that him.or the backs were going to get a lot of ball

Also the quality of opposition he is facing is much better than what he will be facing week in week out.

It wasn't a game for attacking flair. If stompkins had played england would have conceded 50. He's so crap in defence and under the high ball.

I thought Zak was solid. It was always going to be a forwards game in those conditions. Of which no one played well in the first half.

I even thought Zak may have saved that first try with his one on one last ditch tackle. It was a huge effort not many full backs in the world would make. Sam Tomkins would have just slid in five seconds later with his knees.

I'd say it was a confidence boost for Zak in only his first real competitive international. Looking forward to the next two.

Also I'd like to just add, against Australia or New Zealand Sam Tomkins has never showed his "flare" in any way he did in super league IMO. He's struggled. If Sam was fit, I would play him. But not at full back. He's not solid enough in defence at that level.

Wonder how Golding would have faired yesterday?!
