Ever since the 3-in-a-row of 07,08 & 09 I've thought this way. Before then I was very much on a high when we won and down in the dumps when we lost. But when I knew we'd won in 09 I thought I should savour these moments and this team and this period in the club's history, because I can remember what it was like before then. So I'm very much more chilled out on a Friday night at Headingley now, and I reckon I enjoy it more as a day/night out rather than just the rugby itself.

Finals I still get worked up for, can't completely suppress the emotions.

A treble would make this team the best team. Is hard to compare eras but to win all competitions would be one hell of an achievement. With how we have played so far this season it almost feels like I will be disappointed if we don't, for the players. 6 games to go, and I hope we can send the boys out on another win

At the moment no, however I do think it's the most professional and ruthless Leeds team I have witnessed.
When senior, Webb and younger versions of Mc Guire and Sinfield were in their prime we lost games which we should have won.
Not so with the present team, coupled with the fact Brian Mac has a few more seasons under his belt. His game plan for the HKR match was one hundred per cent correct.

This team is not as good as the 2004/05 team.... Yet. The results in 04 were frightening. 2 defeats, LLS, SL in 04 then WCC in 05 followed by CC final which we lost rather than Hull won, and a GF defeat to the salary cap busting Bulls. We should have scooped the lot in 05. If this team do the treble, they will be the greatest

Wind your necks in Whinos! No one cares about the hubcap and Leeds beat a middle 8 team in the Challenge Cup final. This season, 4 games so far: Wigan 2 Leeds 2. Leeds won both games at Headingley with home fans reffing. Grand Final won't be at Headingley lads, so no treble coming your way. The Saints & Bulls teams already mentioned still the only two that can be considered best of Super League era and Wigan only team to be considered best in all of Rugby League history. Leeds? I'm a little confused as to how a club that has dominated the game over the past decade could be classed as 'flash in the pan'. These idiots get worse on a weekly basis.

You'd think with a club as successful as Wigan, that they'd have quite a level headed, knowledgable set of fans, but in truth most are just an embarrassment. It seems the more Leeds win, the more bitter they get, as well as trying to ridicule us to somehow make themselves feel better. I really hope Leeds go on to bray that mob in the Grand Final. Team of grubs.

As opposed to the last time Wigan won the cup, by beating the mighty Leigh, Widnes, Hull KR, London and Hull FC (in the worst final in history).
