It's a dozy thread really given the fact we haven't even played Wigan yet.

As previously stated, the topic is fantasy competition relevant, with regards to transfers remaining in May. I can't wait until after the Wigan game to make these changes as the competition is locked out until Monday 1st June.

I wouldn't be resting players 'just because it's wakey' I'd be resting players bearing in mind the turn around before playing Cas on the Thursday.

Quite a few are basing their team selection for Wakey on Leuluai being back in action but that's not a given. Also whilst I hope they'll be fine for this weekend against Wigan, both Delaney and JJB still obviously have hamstring concerns. We haven't exactly got plenty left spare to come in after those.

I think he's right, FWIW.

The current season goes on too long and cuts down even further the rest, recovery and preparation time that elite players need in the off/pre season. If the intention is to keep the current structure of 30 regular season rounds, playoffs and Challenge Cup then a couple of say Friday-Wednesday-Sunday runs in a season is preferable to eating into the off-season by two weeks.

My ideal would be Easter weekend and the two bank holiday weekends in May. That would separate the season more.

In my opinion you can't have both Yates and Mulhern in the 17. It makes us too weak at prop. One of Peacock or Cuthbertson will have to play. In my view it should be Peacock, we don't have to worry about him beyond this season.

I think I could lineup at 10 against wakefield and it shouldn't make a difference to the result. A poor team with poor fitness in poor form with no confidence. If we don't comfortably win it is entirely down to our own lack of focus.

Why rest anybody this game is worth 2 points just like if you beat Wigan at their ground , why take the risk. With our first team out it is as near to a guaranteed 2 points as you can get.
