| Quote Wigg'n="Wigg'n"Nah just too busy laughing to bring myself to post.
Suggesting Lockers attacks players on the ground is a new one though.
Being the most aggressive team in the league won us the double. It was obviously going to get found out soon enough. We're just working on a plan B.

Who suggested that about Lockers? Now Flanders was caught bang to rights wasn't he?

Dunno what you're on about? He's played over 350 games and never been charged by the disciplinary.
This doesn't even deserve a response:
Quote lionarmour87Every chance he gets he'll put a forearm into a grounded players face. He's a hard, tough and uncompromising player who makes sure you know it when he tackles you. In his early days he made many dentists very wealthy.

you obviously missed the pun when the poster Called the player who got sent off in the GF Flanders .You may be too young to remember the satirical singing Duo Michael Flanders and Donald Swan , FLANDERS and SWAN .

| Can someone tell me how many penalties were given for head high shots?
I couldn't get to the game so watched it on sky and the pub I was in has the sound quite low as Steveo's comments wind up the old fellars so I genuinely have no idea!
What I do recall is a number of penalties given to both sides for tackles that did not appear to be high and a few years ago wouldn't in my opinion have been given.
Wigan's approach is aggressive but can anyone tell me any team that has been successful that hasn't had an aggressive streak in the team?
We are playing very very poorly at the moment and several of the comments posted could well be true regarding Wane's approach in that after a while players need a fresh approach to freshen them up. We will have to wait and see.

The Flanders referred to is O'Loughlin, not Flower (from Todd Flanders, curly-haired son of Ned Flanders of The Simpsons fame).

Not many, the only one of note was Bateman in the first half straight from a kick off, and that came up off the shoulder. How did Burrow get away with the push on Manfredi? Also if the ref is going to penalise every player who walks off the mark (and I think he should) then there'll be another 10 penalties a game.
While were at it he should penalise every play the ball that is not with the foot, it's becoming a farce with the holy grail of a fast p.t.b.
edit
And just to add from Fridays match Leeds had more cases reviewed by the match review panel than Wigan.

| I was surprised that George Williams didn't have a referal to the disciplinary with his use of his knees in the Hanley try,but the diciplinary referal procedure leaves alot to be desired.
