The way others are improving and we aren't means McDermott will really have to prove his coaching chops this year, something I have no confidence in whatsoever. I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

I had a call yesterday from the ticket office regarding renewing my season ticket. I told her straight that the club has let us down big time with it's arrogance on team improvements, and unless there is a change in direction with that, and a change to their attitude generally in league games, then I would guess a lot of others would not renew. She did confirm that she had similar responses from other calls.

Had the same call and gave them a similar reply - GH needs to get his act together, Daryl Clark should have been very high up his list, sadly I doubt he even made an enquiry.

He did actually make more than an enquiry, when Warrington tried to pull out of the deal they already had with Cas. However, common sense obviously got the better of Warrington when they realised exactly what they were getting.

If Larne Patrick is available though, Christ all mighty that would be unforgivable not to be trying on that one.

I thought it was Clark himself who said he would rather stay at Cas and Cas themselves tried to buy him out of the deal.

No Warrington were the ones who tried to come out of it, due to finances, and that came from someone high enough up at Cas. I guess seeing the real deal as it was this season, made them realise that they were actually getting some value.

I'll say it again, if you don't like the product vote with your wallet. It's the only way to convince a sports club that anything needs to change.

If enough people keep paying over money regardless of whether they're happy with what they are getting in return, where's the incentive to change anything from GH's perspective?
