| I feel it is a loss, he was all was highly rated, and when I saw him he looked like a lucky player. I hope for the lad sake he finds a club. But I do hope we are not making the mistake we did with Lowes letting him go.

| Lowes was a first team regular at Leeds for 4 years. He developed a lot at the Bulls, but even if Hood went on to be Cunningham Mk2 it couldn't possibly be the same thing at all.

| Quote Him="Him"Well we've narrowed the entire league down to 3 clubs just from looking at their squads. Were any of those clubs in the market for a hooker? Considering 2 of them have let a hooker go on loan to another club this season you'd have to assume hooker isn't a priority for them. What makes you think the club have been lax in terms of Hood's development given the lack of SL opportunities for him??'"
We haven't narrowed down anything. What we have shown is that opportunities would have existed to get him a loan at a super league club, had Leeds made him available and actively pursued that route.
Whether that would have made any difference to where we are now is completely whistling in the wind. But what it would have been is far more productive than messing him about with Hunslet.

| with the possibility of sir kev playing more games at hooker to accomodate suttcliffe and also having burrow playing 9 when maguire is back fit, it is no wonder that hood wants out and thats not even thinking of mcshane or any truth in the lunt rumours !

| I'd have no problem taking him at Saints. Howarth is a good stop gap for us in a deal with Gaskell and Salford but when he goes and leaves Robes being the only 9 then i imagine he wouldn't mind coming to Saints?

Could have existed Gotcha. Although as per Him's post, those opportunies may not have been there.

| More to this lack of chances, could it be an attitude issue ? Can anyone remember Griffin ? Someone mentioned the height of the Leeds bar, how far as this player progressed since making his debut ? He's not he's gone backwards and I am sure Leeds want rid, happy to move him on, possible transfer fee or even if they let him go a sum off the cap to spend on a more recognised hooker ? May be we are happy to interchange I Sinfield, burrow, mcshane I don't know, what I do know is at some point we need a quality scrum half who can move us round the field and dictate play, we have the best back line by a country mile and they are starved of the ball for large parts of the game.

If I meant could i would have put it Richie. What I said is what I meant. There is always opportunities that open up.
Intact come to think of it, haven't Hull KR and Huddersfield both had hookers on loan this year? The Huddersfield one being a young kid from wire. Which was my point earlier on Wire getting their youngsters out a lot in superleague.

I know what you meant, I wasn't interpreting your post, just pointing out it's erroneous nature.

Then you need to open your eyes to the game rather than the club, as your knowledge seems some what limited to Leeds.
