Giants Season ticket holders have priority seating (ie there ST spot) on all cup games, this is stated in the season ticket small print.
All individual tickets have unreserved on them, what ever the game, you can tell on the seating as there will be the giants reserved on them. Or till someone shifts you.

So misleading (and potentially false) information given to Leeds fans then

| Quote JerryChicken="JerryChicken":D oooh thats going to be fun especially if its very close to selling out and the usual pattern of "lets not go onto the stand until the very last minute" happens and you end up with groups of people with beer inside them trying to sit together only to find that they have a rubbish view or their mates have to sit fifty yards away
Its like the budget airlines unallocated seating on a full flight - there's always some who b1tch and whine because they can't sit together.
Lets be honest, its unallocated seating because its too much bother to try and control it any other way.'"
We don`t have any rubbish views at Hudds.

How many reserved seats are there? Huddersfield don't have many fans'"
Taking into consideration the population of Leeds against the population of Huddersfield. I believe the club with the largest percentage of support is Huddersfield by a long - long way.
So looking at it from this perspective it looks as though it is Leeds who don`t have many fans.
Not having a pop but it annoys me when supporters have digs at other supporters.

I wasn't having a pop either I was just saying you don't have that many fans so the reserved seats issue might not be that bad.

| It seems to me that Leeds fans just WANT it to be a problem. It's straight forward enough for anyone over the age of 6 to understand. If Leeds can't get the information (or tickets) out to their fans correctly its hardly the fault of the giants. I suspect "blocks" weren't allocated initially because neither club were sure how many would take up the offer. It works with football- the fact it's two different set of supporters should actually make it easier- providing Leeds fans don't be awkward about it as you'd suspect that fans would want to sit with their own. I sit in the direct golf stand in the central section and my seat will have a giants reserved sticker on it- and ill expect to sit there without issue.... Unless of course someone decides to be a Richard about it- which makes it their problem.
There is no "small club" mentality from giants - its a perfectly workable system that no one else has ever complained about- just an arrogant lets be awkward mentality from some from Leeds.

Your average was 7,709 last year but I'd be interested to see how much away fans contribute to that figure

| All sounds very familiar, same set of problems caused trouble in the past when the large one tier stand was shared between home and away fans.
Home fan turns up at last minute and finds away fan (who has been there an hour) in his seat. It had a small paper sticker on once but this has long since peeled off and no stewards in sight, scuffle ensues and away fans are sent to the worst stand in the ground from then on.

I don't want it to be a problem and I do understand what the system is, but I just cant see how you can force Leeds fans to go sit in Blocks 1 and 2 when it says unreserved on our tickets. That means if I see 3 seats together that are in block 5 (obviously now without "Giants Reserved" on the back), I will sit down there so myself and my party can have a good view. I was always going to get sideline tickets and did ask for "as close to halfway as possible" before being told they are unreserved. I still plan to sit as close to halfway as possible and will not be in blocks 1 or 2.

There are Giants fans saying the same things on your forum as the Leeds fans are on this one, so its a concern to them as well.
But anyway, serious question, you've got the two centre sections of the Direct Golf Stand which is where all of your season ticket holders sit and you're promised priority over those seats for cup games as long as you pay for those seats seperately.
So, do you have to make the club aware that you are going to be using that seat before they put the reserved sign on it, or do they just reserve all of the seats that they know have season ticket holders ?
