From what I've read he still had 2 years left on his titans contract so he wasn't desperate for work, that would lead you to believe he was offered a good wage to come over to Hull and a 3 year one at that.
On another point, Hull (same as wigan) have a complete new 3/4 next year, something we have done in the past many times and no matter how big the names are it doesn't always mean instant success.
