Leeds haven't got those big match players with experience of winning the big finals at Wembley and I think that might tell....the old guard of Briers, Morley, Monaghan and co have probably got one more big final in them.'"
No chance of Leeds going in as big favourites, maybe slight favourites at best depending on results between now and then (Wire have tough ones against Saints & Wigan) and of course any injuries, 2 years ago we lost Peacock just before the final. At the moment i'd say its prettty even if you're a betting man/woman.
I don't think not winning at Wembley in the past will be an issue for these players because of the last 50 mins they managed to perform against Wigan last year. Had the whole game gone like the first 30 mins and we ended up on a 30 - 40 points hiding then that coupled with the Warrington battering 12 months earlier would of probably left some big scars, but as they showed in the playoffs after the Wigan defeat they picked themselves up where most others would of failed so i don't think they'll be hamstrung or effected by having not won at Wembley. I think Warrington will need to be near the performance they managed in 2010.

Hopefully we will see a little rotation especially in the forwards to keep them fresh.'"
That Catalan game was always a concern if we made it through. Expect a large defeat. Anything else will be a welcome bonus.

I'm really confused as to whether you're trying to troll or not? Are rugby league games at Wembley played under different rules in which the wealth of experience our current players have suddenly counts for nothing? It's a game of rugby, a very important one, something in which our players tend to do very well in. We have more experience than winning finals than any of the Warrington team, the competition and location is irrelevant, it's an 80 minute game of rugby.

| I would say Sally is talking out of her fanny.
The SL table and past recent history of the CC will dictate who is favourite and it sure wont be Leeds.
Wire will be 2nd or 3rd come August 25th and we will be 5th.
Underdogs will suit me and I think both teams are pretty evenly matched and not too disimilar in playing personel.
Both sets of backs are equal and the forwards again are evenly matched.
Should be a cracker and let`s hope Thaler gets the game.
Oh and the same 17 for the final please Mr McDermott.

But youve not really experienced a big game till youve played in a Grand final and won one ,let alone 5 since 2004.These leeds payers have done it,and they would like to win CC to round off their collection. The county cups were big in the 50s ,now they are no more, the CC is now like the county cups were in the 80s,but I really want this for these legendary players.Warrington have achieved nothing yet,and they are ageing too

Truly awful. Warrington made hard work of beating them. Poor line speed in the first half should have seen them slaughtered but Wire had to rely on a dubious video ref decision to get them going.
WTF Saints see in Nathan Brown god only knows.

| Quote: wirethunder "I can't see the 'Rhinos' giving us too many problems. Particulary with their minging record in Challenge Cup finals. Is it something like 5 defeats on the bounce? (including that 30-6 humiliation to us in 2010)
Given all that the mighty Wire should prepare for the after match victory celebrations right now, plus the open top bus parade through the streets of Warrington the day after.'"
Leeds have a poor recent record in cc finals but the only time they've been minging is 2010.
In 2000 and 2011 they went in as big underdogs and managed to nearly snatch victory from the jaws of a potential drubbing.
In 2003 and 2005 they lost by a combined total of 3 points. There was nothing in it. It's fair to say with a bit more luck leeds record in CC finals would look abit different, especially in the 03 and and 2011 finals.
I don't think people should dwell on leeds recent record in cc finals, if they win most of the games between now and the final they will go into the game in better shape than any before, probably since 2003.

Sally has developed his own brand of trolling through irony, hence the comments about Leeds not having the big match players with experience. Have a read on the Wire board for all posters he's fished-in. He's quite funny.
