Even in a 14 team Super league, it should be a top 5 play off system, 6 at a push. This would ensure that teams need to perform to a higher standard on a more regular basis, if they are to win the championship.

Got to say Ive been impressed with the recent form of Lee Smith. He's beginning to show signs of his pre-wasps excursion!

Bailey again has really stepped up, he compliments the no-nonsense approach of both JP & Kylie well because he winds up and niggles the opponents at the same time. MOM 2 weeks running for me.

Its hard to pinpoint any particular player for me, but what we do seem to be doing a lot of is forcing the ball. Looking for the offload when its not on, short passes going to ground, FORWARD passes to the wingmen!

When were on were on, but too many times this season weve switched off and being punished.

Have to admit that last night is the first time I've genuinely questioned BM's position. As much grief as he was getting last year he deserved the full season & proved most of us wrong. Last night however, to publicly criticise the players when it was bleedin obvious it was his tactics that had failed us, was quite a shock to be honest. Is he losing it?

The rest I agree with. We seem to play 'panic football' far too often, looking for the miracle break....but if the forwards fail to make any inroads up the middle then I guess that's why.

Bear in mind we play Bulls, Wire and Wigan next, worst possible outcome could quite easily see us sat in 10th in 4 weeks with MUST WIN games against Wakey, Cas, London and Hull in the next 4 weeks before our CC Cup showdown with Wigan.

I think top 4 is gone, 5-8 is most likely and one BIG game against Wigan might see us back at Wembley and If we do come away with any form of silverware this season then the last bit of luck thats got us it will well and truly be spent

We will make the playoffs I have no doubt whatsoever........simply because Super League is really poor.

I couldn't work out if they were unfit or just lacked urgency, which would support McDermott's present contention that the team is just drifting through the regular season. No one would swap the 2011 Grand Final win for anything but it does appear to have had unexpected knock-on effects on the Leeds mindset.

To be fair McDermott is responsible for his bench rotation and epitomised by not even bringing on his bench hooker (again) he has to take the [uvast majority[/u of the blame for this latest loss.
