Rhinoms I have no problem with what you have posted above. However as you have said he was just a part of a team performance he did nothing worthy of the special praise he is been given.

Marcel. I think bailey is a very underated player. I am only commenting on yesterdays game.

Every team performance has certain stand outs whether good, bad or indifferent and imo mate he was 1 of many positive stand-outs yesterday and deserves that recognition imho of course.
Yes the high tackle was annoying and could of cost us but so could the other errors the other lads made and having watched the game again other than that incident his defensive work was top drawer.

I just disagree he stood out at all.

Mcguire, Senior and Buderus all stood out by doing special things during the game.

Absolutely but i'd add the things that Bailey did plus Jjb and Smithys work all added to the performance aswell.

True fella but he's just a "freak" of SL mate one of those that defy physical logic time and again and beyond comparison imo.

james graham makes just as many yards and carries so he must be a freak as well.

Last time i checked he did'nt play for Leeds and has had zero effect in his team winning GF's whereas JP.......
Great player no doubt but if the scousers are'nt careful he'll be done in another couple of years ala "night night" Fielden.

mcguire may hav scored twice and got bbc mom but i didnt think he played particularly well. He was poor in defence and wasted a few chances with poor passing and decisions. Buderus and Bailey were the best 2 for me. On another point James Graham was crap in defensive.
