I think CC gates are split after the home club as recovered match day costs, so yes if Blackpool don't agree then as I understand they will have to keep the current match day price that the club sets at the beginning of the season. So that age old guessing equation of how much do we reduce the price to ensure and increase in actual takings by a potential increased crowd comes into play!

If they price the game at £10 then they need to increase the crowd by around 80% to 100% (because of variable ticket prices) to break even. That is not going to happen, so why would Blackpool lose out on cash for the sake of an increased crowd? However, possibly looking at maybe £15 in advance and £18 on the day, so a reduction of £2 per ticket might bring in more than the cost of the reduction, but even that is a close call!
