Certainly if Webb or Hall are injured (especially whilst Donald is out) then it will be interesting to see what happens.

We are starting to struggle for quality injury cover and I would not be surprised to see BJB recalled now Watkins is long term injured with Scott with still many weeks to go and Webb/Hall carrying knocks!

if thats the backline that will be fit for friday then surelt BJB should stay at Harlequins

Forgive me if im wrong, didnt Watkins have a bit of discomfort with his leg 5 mins before he went down in pain???

My memory tells me Watkins was hobbling about a little then made a carry, which then resulted in him going down in pain and by the looks of it making the injury a hell of a lot worse!

Did they not learn this from Kevin Sinfields dead leg? Sinfield was able to jog with a limp, but they left him out on the field - to the extend to could hardly walk off the field. It was also a carbon copy of Clinton Toopi's injury - which was his last performance for Leeds. Leeds seem to have a mentality of 'see if he will run it off'. Well they medical staff have screwed up big time.

Who else will cover winger, although Bush did alright against quins, he's not good enough to play for the next couple of months.

We do seem to like gambling by trying to get players to run it off.

You see it every week on Sky, as soon as a player gets injured he gets withdrawn and assessed from the touchline or in changing room. Whereas with Leeds he has to be practically unconscious or crying in pain to warrant a sub to be used.

Most players and clubs are the same.

I don't think it's really a critisism that can only be levelled against Leeds or it's players.

I don't think you do. Coaches have to be a bit more circumspect with their use of substitutes than that.

That might well be the case tvoc, but should the club learn from the lessons of this season? or continue to operate the same?

I would hope lessons are learned and players health is not compromised if any risk.
