Regards Achurch, am i right in thinking this would be his last year? if it is, and we can assume he is on a fair whack, you can't blame him for seeing it out if no other offer comes close to it.

Judging by GH article today, Sutcliffe should be 6, McGuire 7, Falloon 9 and Burrow 14.

He also talked about "holding onto your shirt". Would be amazed if Burrow or McGuire's numbers changed.

Prediction: Galloway 8, Falloon 9, Cuthbertson 10, Sutcliffe 14, Singleton 16, Garbutt 17

I have to disagree, i think if singleton gets 10 it will only make him more confident, we have all seen his ability this season breaking defence's and contributing to huge tackles and scoring tries.

8 and 10 on your squad number list should, theoretically, be the two best props in your squad.

Anyone who thinks Singleton is one of the two best props at Leeds needs their head checking.

Not disagreeing with you...for me Cuthbertson should get the 10 shirt (Galloway obvious candidate for no. criteria 13 should be the best LF in the squad!!!! The fact that Ward is unlikely to ever start in that position this coming season is a bit contradictory n'est ce pas?

Burrow will be 7 won't he? He's unlikely to start many games at halfback if Sutcliffe and McGuire are fit.

I would imagine so. Despite what GH said I reckon Burrow (7) along with JJB (11) and McGuire (6) will keep their numbers until they finish.

As for number 10 I'd go Cuthbertson. Already very popular with the fans so wouldn't be the pressure a new signing (Galloway) or younger player (Singleton) may have taking over that shirt. Just a question or whether to give the number 8 shirt to Galloway or Garbutt.....or you could even give that one to Singleton because (no disrespect to Leuluai but) it doesn't come with the same pressure to take over his number.

TBH I'd be surprised if shirt numbers mean that much to some of the players.

Great news about Garbutt getting a new 4yr deal i am a bit surprised he's getting no-17 though i'd have given him a higher number.

That leaves Mullaley and one other (probably Achurch) rounding off the 19/20 shirts. Might even keep Achurch and Singleton as they are. Will be interesting to see if the former is demoted down the numbers.
