Quote Marty Grrrrrrrrrr!="Marty Grrrrrrrrrr!"Lets get a settled spine and a settled front row and see where are at.
We are currently on our 3rd full back, got a young 6, our hooker made his 1st start and we are chopping and changing at 13 weekly. We are bound to look disjointed and we did.
Were not helping ourselves at the moment with handling errors and poor discipline. A couple of our backs have mistakes a plenty in them unfortunately and thats not going to change.
Our last tackle plays are truly dreadful. No idea why our hookers cant just pass to Luke Gale on the last. It doesnt seem difficult to me yet whoever plays 9 seems to want to throw to the nearest prop on tbe last or to someone on a crash ball near the line. Its absolutely ridiculous and if im honest its doing my head in. That said i think Leeming grafted and Dwyer as an impact sub is only way to go.
A few havent come back from lockdown as they went into it and we need them to get back to the same form. All teams suffered lockdown some have come back strong and some havent. We certainly havent.
Plenty just arent good enough. Simple as that.'"
Agree with all of that. Add into that Holroyd first start, Thompson on debut, Briscoe and also Sutcliffe just back from injury. On a wider level this is a new team and squad. Lui and Gale are also new. We have only Cuthbo and Tom Briscoe left from 2015. Having some experienced club men is really important. From 2015, we should have still had Ward, Watkins, Hardaker and Liam Sutcliffe and Singo as a small core of continuity and experience which has not happened for various reasons. Also maybe Moon. Huge changes from 2017 as well.
We have a squad with very few players at their peak.
We have made 50 handling errors in the last 3 games, even though Cuthbo had a mare second half, think he has been really good in the last 12 months and is key to our attack.
Reduce the errors and improve last tackle plays and we will be much better and be able to beat the lesser sides.
