| If it's true this is a straight swap for Tui then i take back my early comments when it was believed we were paying a big fee.
I don't think he is any kind of long term answer or is necessarily what we need in a half but he should add a little bit on attack and seeing the over sized back of Tui make a swift exit left is the best thing about the deal.

| Sezer and Lui would be a night and day improvement over Myler and Suttcliffe.

You’d have to say which recruitment of his you don’t like.
Some of them have been cheap stocking fillers who have either done a job (Donaldson) or have been moved on (Thompson).
McLelland, Walters and O’Connor all Academy Origin players.
Ava looks really good to me, just under NRL first grade prop makes a good SL prop.
Lui plus whichever other half we get would be a big upgrade on what we’ve had at 6 and 7 this year.
Lunt is a makeweight to support Dwyer and help Johnson come through.
We have a budget and a quota to work within, contracts we’re bound by and not much time.
Who else would you sign, and how would you do it?

For a start Ablett Jjb Albert & L.Briscoe wouldnt be stealing a,wage nor would sick note Crosby . Non of them have contributed this year & are either past it or nowhere near good enough.
Lunt see above & we've strengthend a relegation rival handing them Parcell.
That's 5 1st Team squad spots at least 2 could have gone to u19 lads & imo if the right calibre isnt available then i wouldnt waste a penny then maybe we wouldnt have to try & renegoiate Watkins deal.

I haven't been too happy with Sinfield but that's a very good post.

| If we manage to get rid of Tui and his contract in the Lui deal, Sinfield should get another knighthood

He made a big mistake with Furner, I’m not whitewashing him. I don’t honestly know at what point GH ends and where KS begins in recruitment decisions; but there are signs of life IMO.
I’ll say one thing; Sinfield loves Leeds and he will not stand for mediocrity or lack of effort. He is making tough calls for the good of the club and I think he’s mostly getting it right. He’s not ducking anything, and he’s had to take a battering trying to fix up the mess he came in to. The bloke is smart and he has a plan, give him time.

Depends if the rumours that we are still going to be paying some/all of his wages whilst at Salford are true ?

| Even if we have to subsidise Tui elsewhere, he needs moving on ASAP. He's not just rubbish, but his clear lack of fitness (after a full season he's lost a bit of weight but still has a spare tyre and a fat ) speaks volumes for his general attitude. Most players who aren't doing well at a new club would at least bust a gut working as hard as possible on basics, especially fitness. Added to the fact he's taking up a valuable quota spot and he's been a disaster. And he was clearly a GH signing, not Sinfield.
If we don't get rid via a swap, we need to work out how to move him on for next season. That most likely means topping up his wages for two years, but better that than having him around the club and taking a quota spot.
In any event for 3 out of the last 4 years we've ended up in a desperate rush to repaid obvious flaws in the team. Sinfield was involved last year but had barely arrived. This time he's having to do it, but the pattern suggests most of the responsibility for poor recruitment lies elsewhere.

| Sinfield has to take some blame for this season. Even if he was not responsible for Lolohea signing, he gave contracts to Ablett, JJB and Crosby while releasing our best prop in Garbutt.

| Fair comments. Im only happy with parcell going if we've got someone else lined up for this season. If not theres serious questions to be answered by KS.

Yep agreed. This is the hardest bit now; wrestling back control and positive momentum. The club is more attractive to better players when it is running well and competing for silverware - we need to get back in that virtuous circle.
If we can solve our structural issues and offer more threat whilst defending better, that’s a start at least.

| Agreed. Once we have some sort of spine we can then look at other areas. We may still want another class forward and our wings aren't the best, but we can be mid table without them. I'd say our centres look as good as any, and our better forwards are fine.
