was he wise to come back in and attempt to headbut Long, only to get laughed at?
I feel he could possibly have got away with the elbows but add that to the attempted headbut I cannot see anyway he will not pick up 1 game seeing as the ref put the entire incident on report. |

I genuinely like Bailey by the way I think he has bags of talent and if you look on the Wigan board was championing his signing when we were linked to him.
He walks the line and makes it very uncomfortable for his opposite number to play against him. I think tonight though he crossed the line if you look at the incident as it unfolded from start to finish as good Props often do. Were it a regular season game I have no doubt he would pick up 1 game, to be honest with you being 2 props down already (which i think is a real shame) even if Bailey does not pick up a ban Wigan will win by 2 clear scores, a full front row and i would be predicting a potential classic.

The RFL will be consistent - no ban - just as he didn't get a ban for his last tackle play at Wembley. |

You mean the underside of his arm, like any player in the whole of the game does in that situation, pushing themeselves forward to try and release from the tackle? |

Absolutely. The point these idiots seem to have missed is that Radford was being penalised for not releasing Bailey at the time Radford lost the plot. In the initial ruck, where Bailey's ball carrying arm is being swung to regain his feet it was Radford, not Bailey, committing the offence.
If Radford didn't like the contact from Bailey's arm then obey the laws of the game and roll off the tackled player, don't throw punches.
As usual, Bailey remained in complete control, let Radford have his way, then played the rest of the game, unlike big girl's blouse Radford. |
