McDonnell is having a great game. Assuming Watkins will be one of the starting second rowers next week then don’t think Bentley makes the 17. 

BA was definitely frustrated with Bentley tonight, and rightly so, brain dead from James this evening.

Newman, frawley, bentley and O'Connor...rubbish

Sounds very much like BA has made his decision for 2026.

The only thing stopping him from saying more is he currently doesn’t have a job to go to.

He may well get a gig at Penrith if things keep going the way they are. 

I’d swap them…

Thought Lisone had his best game for a long while and like others have said Sinfield better than Frawley and O`Connor put together with his passing.
Newman wasn`t playing too bad until he got greedy with the double movement and then the diabolical pass by an International centre to prevent McDonnell getting his 5th.
Frawley stopped our attack time and time again, too slow with the kicking and some terrible short passing again that stifled our attack.
Bentley his worse game so far and ffs Handley just isn`t a centre.
I like the suggestion that Watkins could play LF and move Palasia to prop and that probably means Holroyd misses out.

 Off the back of three very physical games I was very pleased with how we dominated up front. We could not have done that a year ago. Even Lisone dug in last night.
Three quarter line doesn't threaten as much as it should. Handley rarely tries the cut out pass. Which he should. He can cover that distance as we've seen him do it when dealing with kicks in his wing days. Newman is just erratic.
Frawley is what he is. If everyone is fit he's the one to drop out as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to see Sinfield get more minutes at hooker, I see him fitting that role far more than I see him as a half back.
Chalk and cheese in the 2nd row last night but I'll cut Bentley a bit of slack as he's been good through a tough run of games.
We still make some shockingly dumb plays. Newman, Frawley, O'connor, Holroyd, Handley all threw in the odd shocker and there were others.
Overall OK though I'll hope for better next week.
