Rhinos Sweep Past the Dragons To Maintain Play Off HopesLeeds Rhinos have been on the verge of dropping out of the top six play-off race for the last few weeks but an encounter at Headingley in round twenty-three really was the Rhinos last opportunity to make the six as they came up against one of the sides in danger of dropping out of the play off places, an out of form Catalans Dragons. A win would lift the Rhinos back within two points of the Dragons with four regular rounds remaining, a win for the Dragons would come close to guaranteeing them a spot in the end of season knock-out competition. The Dragons were without the recently un-retired Sam Tomkins who had picked up an injury and with the securing of Brad Arthur as coach until the end of the 2025 season the bookies had made the home side favourites with an eight-point handicap on the coupon. | Great performance tonight, think people are harshly judging the first half after a cynical spoiling Catalan side

| When Fusi plays like how we know he should, he's actually a pretty good player, he's just prone to being injured and seems only 50% interested sometimes, he's an enigma but 1 I think Arthur is happy to perceiver and work on.

| Great win that. We were patient.
Though little Tom was excellent tonight which is good to see.
It was clear Catalans came to spoil the ruck but as I said we rode that out and took our chances in the second half all of out trys were excellent

| TNW, O’Connor and Bentley very good. Fus and miller showed good flashes too. I don’t think too many wingers would score the try he did, and once he got going he was a handful on that edge.
I thought our ruck play sped up massively when Smith and Ackers went off. We got lots of other stuff right to help but I thought Jarrod was much more direct from 9.
Still some silly mistakes to cut out, but because of how Arthur has changed our approach, being off the pace a bit isn’t fatal like it was under Smith.

| It was good to see us up the intensity in the second half to combat Catalans terrible tactics. I’d hate to have to watch them every week.
It’s such a shame that Fusitua has been injured for the majority of his Leeds career. I think there is a really good player in there somewhere. Happy for him to head off at the end of the season but it’s a ‘what could have been’ for me.
JOC for me was MoM. Line speed, aggression and dummy half play all outstanding. I’d get him signed up long term.

| The most valuable person playing staff and management wise is Bradders .
Never ever thought we could flog Wigan and beat the bully boys Catalan with the midget team we have.
NRL coach what we should have had after Brian Mc better late than never.
Back him and let him recruit what we need and we will prosper imo.
I can see green shoots.
