Completely agree. They'd start crying if Wane was our gaffer. Think they'd down tools quicker than they did with Furner.

You do need an organising half but above all you need a proper pack leader who demands a performance from his team mates. I usually ignore most of what Peacock says but he spoke before the game about leaders who's job it is to hold their teammates accountable for their performances. I don't see anyone in that pack with any kind of aura about them. No one who leads from the front and drags the rest of the side along with them. There are decent players in the team, but the team spirit seems very poor. No one prepared to really dig deep for the cause. Bradford showed what you can do on raw determination. That's what you need to get right first.

He has played well enough when I have seen him. But you need a Jamie Peacock, a James Graham, a Sam Burgess, a Gareth Ellis.

In the past we have relied on flare players playing off the cuff and expansive rugby. It’s exciting to watch, however we don’t have flare players now.
Wanes style of football is structured and boring. But it gives everybody a clear role meaning below average players can over achieve. Whenever Wigan were hit with an injury crises, a youngster would step in to the system and do his job with little impact to the team.

Seeing as we are a team full of below average players, maybe we need a boring structured style of play to get us through this period until we can get rid of below average players and replace with the right quality of player.

One thing for sure, he’d tighten up the defence which I don’t think I’ve ever seen worse that the last couple of weeks.
