I too thought he'd signed elsewhere for 2019 (Salford or Hull KR) but then read in the YEP last week that he was keen to impress for a deal with us for 2019. I queried it with Pete Smith who interviewed him and the player confirms he has no deal signed yet for 2019

WRT Crosby, it seems as though he hasn't actually signed anywhere next year. Even if he had, if he does really well to the end of the year and we want him we ought to be willing to pay a fee. Not saying that will be needed, but a club our size can surely afford to pay enough to get a squad prop if we have to.
