REALLY?! Our 'esteemed' coach would play England's no 1 full back (or, previous no 1 full back) in a position unfamiliar to him as a 'punishment' - is he trying to punish the fans too?

We're the ones paying hard earned money to go watch a team that can't seem to do anything right. I'm glad I opted to pick and choose games I wanted to see this year, I sure as hell would be pi$$*d if I had paid so much for a season ticket to watch this crap week in week out.

He's not unfamiliar with playing wing, did so at the start of his Leeds career and at Featherstone previously. I'd imagine he might've been dropped had we more fit backs available but we don't so the alternative was the wing. And don't just assume the punishment for acting like an idiot on social media and showing the club up came solely from McDermott.

If a lot of what's been said in this thread is true then McDermott needs to go, I'm guessing it's not though.

If this is true, it's a disgrace. We've been awful this year, i'd have expected game time, not just as a part of rotation but for the simple fact
he was the young player of the year in the Championship. He earned his spot unlike the majority of our pack at the beginning of the season.

The worry for me is why are these kids not developing into first team players? McDermott doesn't feel he is ready and he is closer to what is going on than any of us. Why he is not ready, why is Singleton not improving, why is Sutcliffe going backwards?

This needs addressing well before we sack the coach.

If players who are part of the first team squad are regressing, then I'd suggest it needs addressing by sacking the coach, not looking for other reasons.

Maybe those players and the likes of Watkins and Hardaker haven't improved as much as they should have because of the coaching.......which remember was ALL Sinfield for years so blame him.

Anybody blaming Sinfield's coaching for Hardaker not sufficiently improving his passing game? Anybody? Anybody??? He was the one coaching these players?

I don't live in South Leeds anymore you'll be wounded to hear as you'll have to come up with new material now which we all know is a big stretch for you.
