Yes. Put Briscoe back in and we don't concede that early 2nd half try. We also have additional impact when returning the ball. Put McGuire back in and we have some additional leadership plus he puts some cracking passes out to the likes of Hall on the left that may just have got us over the line during some of our periods of pressure. Given that both coaches say NQC got control of the game just after that poor second half start from Leeds, and given that the first half showed we could match them and control the game too, I don't think it unreasonable to suggest some more composure, leadership and fewer errors in that period could have led to a closer game in the second half.


Possibly. Sinfield especially would have been useful both for his leadership and kicking. But they're retired so I'm only comparing with what we have at our disposal this season. A fully fit 2016 Leeds against a fully fit NQC would be a fairly close game I reckon.

That would depend upon what alternatives they have in place as backup. Do you know where Leeds are currently training, what facilities they are currently using, how they compare and how they are being accessed?


If the quality of training facilities, when and where they can be accessed, have an effect upon how a team ultimately performs, then surely that would remain the case if Briscoe and McGuire had played? Or are those two players so special, they are immune from the alleged inconvenience of being deprived of aforementioned quality training facilities?

The points you make appear more like excuses to me. It's a shame your excuse-making loyalty doesn't also extend towards some support for your hometown RL club but you're not the only one in that regard

Regardless of injuries the defence has been a shambles in all bar the first game. There are more than enough experienced players in the team to not let in 30+ in three consecutive games.

why are you being so deliberately stupid? Do you actually want to talk about RL? Because mostly you just go around acting like a 10 year old shouting "boobs!" in his classroom at school and finding it hilarious.
Since you were insistent on picking an argument re training facilities, answer the question asked of you.
Then if you want to actually debate RL then act like a grown up and debate it. You can find my views on the game on a few threads on here in recent weeks. Read them then debate them if you want. And for your information I'm a season ticket holder at my hometown club regardless of how crappily it's run and I give up my free time in both Leeds and my hometown trying to expand the sport. Yet another childish attempt at a diversion hopefully dealt with.

Totally agree throw in poor discipline and no-one stepping up to the leadership role it's not all because of injuries/transition or off field disruptions.

On the training ground stuff - are we seriously suggesting that Kirkstall is the only rugby field in Leeds of its type and is so special that having to move to another piece of grass 100 x 60 metres with posts at either end has dramatically impacted a supposed professional set up to such a degree - seriously!!

On the gym equipment whenever I see video down the gym at Kirkstall and when I have been there for physio I haven't see anything that isn't available at you local David Lloyd/Virgin who I am sure would be delighted to have a group of RL players using their facilities every day.

Leeds is a professional set - they should have had arrangements in place after a couple of days at most - impact should have been very limited - plus they spent a week away in Florida.
