| In all honesty I'm surprised it's taken this long to confirm it publically after all it was the obvious outcome when we signed Briscoe.
Wish him well but like others have said we have better Wingers in front of him and a much better FB.
The depth and rotation in the backs will come from the likes of Minns (next year) possibly Duckworth aswell we still also have Handley who has plenty of pace and is amongst the England squad with Minchella ,Milton and Robbie Ward for next weeks test v France.
With regards to Zak and Kallum I'd happily split the 1st team contract offered to Bish between them and go as far as letting other 1st teamers leave as well to tie them down long term.

Regarding The Doctor, must be tough to look at the table and see his team currently level on points with Wakefield given all the work he's put in over the last 12 months and Wakey having to unload players.

| It is always disappointing to see a Leeds lad leave especially as someone like BJB who always gave a 100%. I expect his name to still be chanted by the southstand. I wish him the best and hope he keeps up his high level of play.

| No surprise it's a shame but he is too good to be a reserve. I wonder if he fancies trying his luck down under.

Perhaps hopeful he might force his way into a regular slot, even though it looked unlikely.
The final nail was probably when Moon missed a couple and Ward was given the centre spot over BJB. If he's not going to be given a chance at centre, or even left wing (don't think our first choice Briscoe should have to swap sides to accommodate the back-up winger) then it's really cut down his options/chances.

| An inevitable occurrence once Tom Briscoe was signed. I'm surprised it's taken so long for official confirmation though, given the number of contract extensions which have been announced via a drip-feed this season. BJB's was always conspicuous by its absence.

Agree I wholeheartedly agree... I think McDermott has done a pretty good job in his efforts to keep all backs sweet, but I agree BJB should just have been slotted in on the left wing on Hall's turn to be left out.
Using Ward at LC in preference to BJB was even more puzzling.....

Not really, I suppose until he'd signed (or agreed) to a deal with another club (which you'd have to presume he has) then their was nothing to announce as his future was still undecided.

TBH I really don't see BJB as a centre so again it would require moving someone and putting Bish at FB/RW. Possibly the plan pre season was Hardaker to switch to centre on occasions but given how he's playing you really don't want to move him away from FB.
He can consider himself extremely unlucky to be edged out of the starting line-up but ATEOTD most would agree we've ended up with a stronger back 5.

| Quote ThePrinter="ThePrinter"No surprise.
Said for a while my guess would be he'll be lining up in a Salford shirt next year, but if that's the case he'll have to do it on the wing with them signing Locke. Similarly the previously mentioned rumour to Warrington, Matty Russell if going well at FB for them so it would appear a wing spot only available.
In fact if it's a FB starting spot he wants it's hard to see him getting a gig at any of the better teams in the league ATM.'"
Depending on how many points Bradford get back. There might be another high quality FB back on the market. Salford are right down there and if they get all 6 points back Salford are in the middle of the relegation dogfight

| Could Giants sign him for full back for next season as Grix is out of contract?
Warrington recently gave Matty Russell a new deal
Hull gave Jamie Shaul a new deal
Salford have signed Kevin Locke
St Helens have Jonny Lomax on a long term deal
Catalans have Escare
Can't see him going to any of these
Wigan maybe if they don't give Bowen a new deal although they have ryan hampshire
Wakefield - maybe?
Hull KR - maybe?
Cas - Maybe?
Got to see Giants been a more appealing than these although Castleford are now playing really well
